I don't think there's anything wrong with their image, teenage girls are going crazy over them regardless, they're a bit more rugged than before but I guess it kinda fits the "mature" image and sound they want.
The performance vocally was great, other than that it was a bit meh. I agree that they're quite lazy performers, they seemed to lack any kind of organisation on the stage. Would've been better if they each had a mic and mic stand and stood in a row, at least it'd be a little more planned out  I can't imagine and wouldn't want them doing choreography like JLS did but they can't just wander round the stage for 4 minutes and call it "putting effort in".

The performance was lazy and the boys just looked...dirty. They all need a bit of man-on-man grooming which I'm sure we'd all appreciate a video of once completed.
Vocals-wise, Niall has really improved dramatically I think (and I'm not just saying that as my favourite, he looked awful too), good on him! |

Niall didn't look awful
 IMO Liam,Niall and Louis (if he doesnt have that awful quiff) look the best at this moment. I do agree that the performance was a mess they really need a new geographer and spice things up.

super late to the party but i just listened to this for the first time
quite groovy~ what I really don't appreciate, however, is the 'she belongs to me' line coz if you replace 'girl' with like 'bike' the song would basically stay the same lolol |
