Out Thursday.
YES KING
Well I wasn’t expecting this!!
(What does this mean for JB tho? )
Looking forward to it! He's also hosting/performing on SNL next week
He'll probably just be releasing this whilst he waits for the JB to be able to go on tour and stuff again.
Please be a Babylon Zoo cover.
He looks like Popeye.
what happened to the jb album?
I've read somewhere it's on hold as Nick does his solo thing and Joe does a bit of acting (I can see their plans changing due to the pandemic and having less opportunities to be together/launch a tour). At least that's the angle UK press is going with (not me posting links to shitty tabloids but easy to find x).
"Spaceman" is available now. The track is the lead single off his upcoming fourth album of the same name out March 12.
4 themes. 11 tracks (based on the second picture).
So disappointed, always loved his music but how on earth did his label allow him to release this as a single.
I’m not keen based on a first listen, perhaps it will grow
Yeah it's a bit dull :/
An album so soon!!
Spaceman as a track isn't very gripping initially, it's probably going to take a few listens
Surprised at the negative reaction to the single in here, I think it's really good! Most of his solo music hasn't hugely gripped me but Spaceman has made a great first impression.
I don't quite get what he's going for with this?
Quite like this from the get go.
I'm really liking the song! Obviously not his best single by any means, but still decent! Very much ready for the album - we're getting treated in March ladies
So disappointed. Utter nothingness and boring AF
As previously mentioned, he did the double duty on SNL, performing "Spaceman" and "This Is Heaven". The latter will be out this Thursday, although it would have been better to pull an OA/OS release instead.
Oh my, This is Heaven sounds amazing
"This is Heaven" is sounding so much better!
i like 'spaceman'
"This is Heaven" is out now, so good! Love the sax solo
I really like both of these songs. Nick is one of the only male artists out there that never lets me down with his output, I literally enjoy everything he tags his name to
This Is Heaven is even BETTER, really liking on first play!
'This is Heaven' is INCREDIBLE instant love.
This is MUCH more like it!
'Spaceman' is pretty boring but 'This Is Heaven' is more what we want - agreed about that sax solo
Yes Nick! This is Heaven is exactly what we want and need!
This is Heaven is absolutely perfect. Could be my favourite ever song of his
Love 'This is Heaven' - so much better than Spaceman!
This actually is heaven Instantly one of his career best songs
I really like Spaceman too, so consider me perched to hear the album!
He’s on The Graham Norton show next week!
^ Just to clarify, he's not performing on the show.
That's a shame! I feel like a performance of This Is Heaven could have had a really great effect for him here!
This and 'Spaceman' are SO good!!! I'm surprised how much of a low key release it seems to be getting though.
We’re getting shirtless action in the music video
Also echoing the love for This is Heaven, incredible
'This is Heaven' actually sounds like it should be a hit!
what does 'this is heaven' sound like? Is it a Years & Years song...
Spaceman did nothing for me but I'm obsessed with This Is Heaven, it's SO good <3 might actually check out the album now!
shame there seems to be like zero hype around this era
Honestly this seems like such a Wonder era, even if there was no hype for Spaceman (the single) to begin with x
By far the best output of the artist to date, but with very little recognition to go along with it ~
It's OK. It's quite forgettable (but I think once I become more familiar with the tracks that'll be sorted, so it's not a big deal) but 'This Is Heaven' is incredible. Agreed that it's one of his best songs to date. Since 'Jealous' for me (which is my favourite song of his...) I love 'If I Fall' too! The 80's synth sound is so subtle but absolutely wonderful in it.
I love the album, agreed with Calum that it’s definitely his best body of work to date! I’m a sucker for 80s synths vibes, so a lot of these songs hit the spot for me. I enjoy the transitions between the tracks, a nice touch. My early faves are This Is Heaven (I feel like if Jonas Brothers had released this it would be a big hit?), 2Drunk, Deeper Love, If I Fall and Nervous.
I absolutely love this album. Ironically spaceman is one of the weakest on there despite it being the lead single. So many brilliant tunes on there but none beat This is Heaven for me.
The one thing I got from listening to this album is that it most certainly is a "passion project" for him and I completely love that he's managing to get the record that he clearly wanted out there, even when they know it's not going to do much. There's some excellent production flourishes throughout this album and the mixing is fantastic. It's an album that is gonna keep growing I think.
I'm not loving what I've heard from this era so far. 'Spaceman' is okay at best, although from what I've heard from the album there are some better songs on there.
On the other hand, Nick is serving looks, arms, face and all the rest and I am so glad he is back.
Deluxe out tonight:
1. Selfish (feat. Jonas Brothers)
2. Dangerous
3. Don’t Give Up On Us (Chill)
4. 2Drunk (Chill)
5. This Is Heaven (Chill)
Both 'Selfish' and 'Dangerous' are good additions to the album! I'm confused as to why he just didn't make it a 13 track album?
Solid album all round. Very happy with it.
This is a really good album. I’m not sure if I’d say it’s better than NJ, but it’s catching up to LYWC quite quickly tbh. Either way, 3 solid bodies of work from Nick so far.
Hoping it's stayed top 50 this week! It fell out of the top 50 at some point during the week, but climbed to 43-ish the last couple of days!
It’s frustrating that online orders aren’t even going to help because he only has a US store, or am I missing something?
Eek a #69 debut for this. It deserves so much better
This album deserves so much more. 'This Is Heaven' is one of his best singles ever (if not his best) and should be Top 40 at the very least.
I hate how much his album flopped, but some of you will be very pleased to know that Nick is still serving us some -worthy photoshoots!

The underperformance of this is one of the most upsetting things to happen in terms of recent chart drama. The album is such a strong listen and it always surprises me how solid and superb the vibe is whenever I listen to it. There are so many standout moments, I am shocked it didn't go on to become a huge pop era with singles all over the radio. What happened!?
Jonas Brothers have announced a tour for this late summer-autumn: https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/jonas-brothers-tour-dates-2021-1171450/
I'm really not surprised this underperformed... it's like they thought it would sell based on his Voice profile and name? Like no... he's had very limited solo success. Bizarre really.
