This started the other day with Piers calling the girls out for basically using sex to sell their album and more or less $l*t shaming them (talking about the 'Strip' video). Obviously they found out about this whilst they were on BBC Radio 1 yday to which Jesy called him a "silly twat". He went on some tirade against them on twitter and then on GMB he demanded LM apologise, even though he started this whole thing with his misogynistic, $l*t shaming. Ariana and her mum have come to the defense of LM saying that they can do whatever they want.
It's too much for me to share here, but if you google "little mix piers" I'm sure you'll find a timeline of everything that's happened. Is Piers right? |

The whole "Little Mix wears nothing" argument is SO f***ING OLD and such a reach?? Where is this sort of outcry for when Beyoncé is dancing around/performing in just a leotard or even Ariana in some of her videos (which she kinda brings up in her tweets)?
He completely missed the point of the song Strip so has completely and utterly missed the concept and point of the video. But in general, why do LM get such a f***ing hard time over shit like this? I have never got the "they wear so little" argument? Especially when it's performances? Didn't their SOTME performance on XF get this kind of attention too? Ridiculous and yet again double standards ahoy when it comes to female performers and male performers |

Yeah. Seems to be a lot of people backing the girls in this one.
It's just hilarious that he has completely missed the message of the song and video. Plus, it doesn't help his argument when LM literally just this week, revealed that one of their people from the label actually suggested they flirt with radio execs in the US to get played on radio!! Update: Lauren Jareguai and Becky G have both chimed in with support for the girls and All Saints have revealed that they too, were forced to flirt in order to get airplay. |

I really don't get why the girls get so much of it either Piers Morgan is just an absolute tool and would do anything for a bit of attention. Are they supposed to wear burqas for every performance? It's not the 1800s and women can wear they like to feel confident in their bodies, and that's the message the girls put across. I'd rather them as role models for children than many other acts. It shows that if you want to wear nice clothes that show off what you've got, not matter what you've got, do it.
What the f*** does that idiot have to do with it?! Going off on a moral rampage about a bit of skin but he was ok with hacking a dead child's phone, patron saint of morality |

Oh, he's just awful. One of those people who can't see how awful they are no matter how much someone tries to point it out to them, because they exist in their own impenetrable bubble of blissful ignorance.
I saw that awful Julia HB woman weighing in on this the other day too. I suppose at least they're succeeding in rattling these right wing mouthpieces, which is good. |

I love seeing pop girls like Ariana and Marina leap at the defence of Little Mix. Of course Piers lacks the capacity to understand the point they are trying to make with 'Strip'.

K*t*e H*pki*s has lashed out at Jesy again, recently... to which Jesy replied with another image saying "Have another one hun" Chris Hughes, Jesy's Ex, jumped to her defense again... I'm glad it doesn't seem to be a bad break up between them both. |

Yikes I'm probably gonna get slaughtered for this BUT I do see where Katie is coming from with that one particular Tweet (of course every other one is complete trash)....like, for me it is irritating and off putting when someone constantly posts pictures of themselves on social media. Of course it's not a big deal and I would never go out of my way to actually try and bring someone down for loving who they are and wanting to share it with the world but when it borders on becoming a daily occurrence and it seems to be all she posts it does seem like it's for attention and validation.
The swimwear post made me cringe so bad. Is it a post to compliment Leigh or is it an excuse to go half naked? And ffs, before I get called 'trash' or whatever, it's the same with male celebrities. Hell, anyone on social media who seem to have no real depth other than selfies and showing off their bodies with unrelated captions. |

Jesy is just doing what every other girl on social media does and absolutely everyone uses social media as a way of attention and validation, including Katie. It doesn't mean they're weak or desperate.

Oh for Christ’s sake the reasons why she posts a lot of pictures or not shouldn’t be investigated...
She said herself, though, on her documentary that she’s aware she seems for approval with some posts and so do a lot of us, it’s just the way it is with insecurities. She’s just broken up. Even if she is seeking for attention that’d never invalidate or contradict what she portrayed on the documentary, on the contrary, it reflects it as it’s a consequence of many insecurities forced on her. But then again, it’s her business. |
