COMMENTARY : Country music makes it to the top of my chart this week in the shape of "Take your time" by Sam Hunt. This would probably be the only time that a number one on the Billboard country chart has made it the top of my chart. It deposes Elle King's country influenced "Ex's and Oh's" which slips to 2 whilst Sam Smith's Bond theme "Writing's on the wall" climbs to 3. Highest climber is 17 year old Shawn Mendes up from 13 to 6 and who climbs this week to 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Highest new entry is the track that climbs to 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 being Drake with "Hotline bling". The track samples Timmy Thomas's 1972 hit "Why can't we live together" and is his 102nd single as a main and featured artist to chart in the US Hot 100 but only the 2nd to be on my chart following "Hold on we're going home" in 2013 which peaked at 2. In at 18 is Italian rapper Baby K with "Roma Bangkok" which spent 11 weeks at the top of the Italian charts and at 20 is French singer Imany who has had limited success in France but "Don't be shy" is her 3rd track to go number one in Russia.
