I was told when confirming this that the artist was already taken, but neither of the artists are on the voting list? What happened there~ Also that Sophie song is her BEST. This post has been edited by Harve: 9th June 2018, 02:58 PM |

I liked it but what does the Isis/Tamara Gee song have to do with Pride?
I googled her but I couldn't see anything about her being LGBT and the song doesn't sound LGBT-themed |

Well, it's fair I have no chance of winning this lmao, but I wanted to share an older, overlooked artist anyway so all good
Not really sure what will triumph out fo this lot, Battle of the Giants! |

Presumably that The Communards have been entered and they share a member in Jimmy Somerville. Looking forward to this! Scar is one of my all time favourite songs, I know Missy Higgins recently appeared in Unknown Pleasures but Futon Couch doesn’t come close to some of her other material. The Sound of White album, which Scar is from, defined my latter time at college <3 |

I MADE A MISTAKE
It's Mary Lambert not Miranda Lambert? The audio I linked was Mary but for some reason I put Miranda down >.> Mary Lambert is on Spotify too whereas Miranda Lambert doesn't exist (or not the one I'm thinking of) |

Will put Mary on the Spotify playlist later if her song is available. |

Apparently, after doing a bit of a search around, my artist goes by their Anglicised name around here so this isn't actually a Séyetana Spotify boycott.
Just going to edit their name to 'QUEEN BEE' in the threads if that's okay. Spotify link for the song if you could add that to the playlist please : https://open.spotify.com/track/2U8jF9oSHrBm...dRiihUyaXDkOzPA |

Oh I never would have guessed that @ Lil Peep (I've still never really got around to listening to much stuff from him, but I do know and love 'Spotlight' <3) I love his stuff and would never have expected to. Had never heard of him until his death, and judged a book by its cover as it were, thinking there's no chance I'd have liked him, that he'd be anything I'd be interested in (too old for it!) but I've listened to his EP quite a bit and Spotlight absolutely loads. |

Wow, what an incredible contest! There are so many songs I utterly adored in there!
I have got a preliminary ranking but will probably listen again, there is just so much I love there. I'm gutted nobody put Lil Phag in though! This post has been edited by ebae: 9th June 2018, 06:20 PM |

Can you vote if you haven't submitted a song?

Presumably that The Communards have been entered and they share a member in Jimmy Somerville. Oops sorry about being responsible for that... I actually was going to send Bronski Beat's dance-tastic 'Hit That Perfect Beat' which seems to be rather forgotten, but I seemed a bit cheap considering it was a #3 hit. Plus the lyrics of 'Disenchanted' are about overcoming prejudice so I thought it fitted in with the pride theme better. This post has been edited by Queef of Screech: 9th June 2018, 07:35 PM |

Think I'll wait until after the plug session to vote but just done a first listenthrough, a mixed bag but there are at least 5 massive highlights and more than enough songs worthy of points.
Espen to win a second spinoff in a row pls. *.* (also, my song actually being nearly the shortest in the contest for once damn you Adam xx) |

Btw Dan I think Bøtanikkä and Singerpurear are both on Spotify as well - the former is just called 'Father', and the latter is credited as 'I Just Wanna Dance 2012' by Wayne G feat. Alison Jiear. Might want to double check that they're both the right versions but I think they are x

First time I've ever closed a Final (and with such a large quantity!) A few artists I didn't expect to see up there too.
