hope this hasn't been made before, but the search function won't let me type 'one' or '#1' into it. Maybe even I've made it before, idk.
Anyway, do you have non-#1s in your chart? Here's my main ones: £1 Fish Man ~ One Pound Fish 6-1-2-12-48-x (5 weeks) Little Mix ~ Cannonball 1-1-8-10-32-x (5 weeks) Tiesto, Mark Alston, Baggi Begovic & Jason Taylor ~ Love And Run (feat. Teddy Geiger) 46-30-39-29-1-1-12-32-x (8 weeks) Jenny Mayhem & The Fuzz Orchestrator ~ Bad Girls (SLO LOV Remix) 2-2-2-1-1-7-24-43-x (8 weeks) [not a non-#1 as such with its 5 weeks top 2, but that chart run afterwards is laughable] Willow Smith ~ Whip My Hair 21-1-7-13-23-30-19-41-x-45-x (9 weeks) Wolfgang Gartner ~ Redline 27-17-39-x-20-1-3-8-47-36-42-x (10 weeks) James Arthur ~ Impossible 1-9-18-19-47-47-49-48-x-50-49-x (10 weeks) Morten ~ Beautiful Heartbeat [Avicii Remix] [feat. Frida Sundemo] 1-1-11-40-37-43-x [6 weeks] |

Around this time last year I had this awful #1 run

These are my worst performing #1s, all below 300 points (which is pretty poor in terms of my chart). Not including #1s that are in my current personal chart:
#01, 05 weeks | 194 points | 03-01-16-26-37-xx Sam Bailey - Skyscraper #01, 06 weeks | 197 points | 01-08-15-21-31-33-xx Lady Gaga - G.U.Y. #01, 07 weeks | 226 points | 01-05-09-13-21-32-40-xx Mariah Carey - You're Mine (Eternal) #01, 06 weeks | 238 points | 04-01-05-12-17-32-xx Gwen Stefani - Baby Don't Lie #01, 07 weeks | 248 points | 04-01-03-11-19-37-xx-39-xx Madonna feat. Nicki Minaj & M.I.A. Give Me All Your Luvin' #01, 10 weeks | 253 points | 07-01-05-11-14-29-xx-35-37-xx-38-xx-40-xx Coldplay - Viva La Vida #01, 09 weeks | 270 points | 01-03-08-16-22-31-40-21-29-xx G.R.L. - Lighthouse #01, 08 weeks | 272 points | 03-01-04-08-14-26-35-40-xx Paulini - Air It All Out [7th Heaven Remix] #01, 08 weeks | 276 points | 01-03-06-09-18-26-28-33-xx Sunblock - I'll Be Ready #01, 08 weeks | 296 points | 03-01-03-05-12-22-33-37-xx Roll Deep - Good Times #01, 13 weeks | 298 points | 01-03-10-16-16-22-24-29-39-36-38-xx-35-38-xx Britney Spears - I Wanna Go I'd definitely consider most of those to be "non-#1s"! |

Counting anything with less than 10 weeks in my chart (not counting songs currently charting):
01 Britney Spears - Perfume - 1-5-11-12-19-29-X (6 weeks) 01 Conor Maynard - Royalty - 1-3-6-17-22-30-38-X (7 weeks) 01 Delta Goodrem - Only Human - 1-4-7-11-21-28-30-X (7 weeks) 01 Devlin - Rewind (feat. Diane Birch) - 1-2-4-4-6-9-14-26-X (8 weeks) * 01 Diana Vickers - Boy In Paris - 5-8-12-X-1-6-13-18-X-31-40-X (9 non-consecutive weeks) ** 01 Fifth Harmony - BO$$ - 1-2-4-6-12-17-23-37-X (8 weeks) 01 Hunter Hayes - More Than I Should - 1-2-8-12-19-27-X (6 weeks) 01 Justin Bieber - Turn To You - 1-2-6-14-12-19-26-X (7 weeks) * 01 Kelly Rowland - Down For Whatever (feat. The WAV.s) - 1-4-9-X (3 weeks) *** 01 Lucie Silvas - Cry a Little More - 1-4-10-14-19-28-34-X (7 weeks) 01 Lucie Silvas - Happy Without Me - 1-3-7-10-13-16-23-30-35-X (9 weeks) 01 Michael Schulte - Rock and Scissors - 1-3-5-8-13-18-26-31-36-X (9 weeks) 01 Mitchel Musso - The In Crowd - 1-2-2-8-14-28-31-X (7 weeks) 01 One Direction - More Than This - 3-1-1-5-X-15-20-26-X (7 non-consecutive weeks) 01 RHODES - Close Your Eyes - 1-3-10-19-23-33-X (6 weeks) 01 Sarah Harding - Threads - 1-5-7-10-13-23-29-36-X (8 weeks) 01 Taylor Swift - Enchanted - 1-3-7-15-20-26-35-X (7 weeks) 01 The Chainsmokers - Erase (feat. Priyanka Chopra) - 7-1-4-12-18-26-33-X (7 weeks) 01 Ulrik Munther - Alltid leva, aldrig dö - 1-4-11-21-26-26-29-36-37-X (9 weeks) * chart was a top 30 at this time ** chart was a top 20 at this time *** chart was a top 10 at this time In cases where there was a re-entry, I'm counting the first chart run for the above key. e.g. Diana Vickers - Boy In Paris entered first during the top 20 period of my chart but when it re-entered, it was during the top 40, so I've marked it with a ** notation. Some songs feel like they shouldn't be there but some really do! |

The only notable example here is Only The Young's I Do, which had a run of: 1-5-13-18-21-26-32-55-OUT
At a push, I'd say Blonde feat. Karen Harding's Feel Good (It's Alright) was a bit of a non-number one, due to its fall and that maybe, if it hadn't been by Blonde and Karen Harding, both of whom are in my good books since I Loved You and Say Something respectively, it might have not done so well. Not as good as I Loved You or All Cried Out, in hindsight. Its run: 1-2-10-19-24-26-23-34-42-51-70-OUT Also, these two X Factor Winner's Singles fell pretty quickly: Ben Haenow - Something I Need {1-2-2-6-12-16-22-28-48-90} Louisa Johnson - Forever Young {1-1-5-9-23-31-36-49-64-71} But Louisa Johnson's fall was accelerated by the Bowie invasion. Its run when all Bowie songs are taken out of the chart looks like this: 1-1-5-9-13-19-23-33-46-52... Currently, the worst number one run in 2016 would be The Stone Roses "Beautiful Thing": {17-6-3-1-3-5-11-14-17-23-37-45-56-64-69-67-76-78-83...} Not a great run for a number one. -01 Video Girl - FKA twigs / (10-4-1-13-42) 5 weeks
-01 Don't Tell 'Em - Jeremih / (12-1-9-25-48) 5 weeks -01 Sleepless - Cazzette / (1-1-3-7-43) 5 weeks -01 Legendary Lovers - Katy Perry / (1-18-23-41-45-xx[10]-40) 6 weeks -01 Blame - Calvin Harris | John Newman / (3-1-3-10-xx[3]-20-29-33) 7 weeks -01 My Head Is A Jungle [MK Remix] - Wankelmut / (16-2-1-5-4-11-38) 7 weeks -01 Pills N Potions - Nicki Minaj / (1-3-10-20-38-43-50) 7 weeks -01 The Heart Wants What It Wants - Selena Gomez / (18-1-2-4-7-6-7-34) 8 weeks -01 Lovers On The Sun - David Guetta / (7-4-6-8-3-1-6-49) 8 weeks -01 Run Away With Me - Carly Rae Jepsen / (6-2-1-2-4-5-22-34-41) 9 weeks -01 This Is How We Do - Katy Perry / (33-40-31-8-2-1-5-25-36) 9 weeks Not a clue what happened to Don't Tell 'Em - still a massive jam to this day. Legendary Lovers obviously fell due to not being a single in the end. My Head is a Jungle is very good so shouldn't have fallen the fast - same with Blame even though it isn't too different to the rest of his stuff which is why I tired of it so quickly. Pills N Potions seems more like a 15 week runner in hindsight so that just fell off the map because I played it way to much to begin with. The Heart Wants What It Wants is one of my faves still too, it'll be appearing in my EOY in a couple of weeks. |

The shortest run for a #1 since 2010 has been:
Underworld “Caliban’s Dream” 10-01-01-02-02-04-08-16-25-29-39-46 (12 weeks) ..which also has the distinction of being the highest debut of the 2010s on my chart when it went in at #10 on 29th July 2012 - the Sunday after the opening ceremony of the London olympics. |

Tink - Million (1-30) [still charting]
Tbh it was extremely lucky to get that #1 anyway, I grew tired of it ages ago but it had a second wind just in time for my first chart. I don't even know if it will make it onto my next chart tomorrow, 2 weeks for a #1 is awful This post has been edited by No Sleeep: Nov 24 2015, 04:13 PM |

The Chainsmokers ft. Waterbed - Waterbed - (19-1-8-20-19-x-)
I can't remember liking it to that extent anyway - there were a lot of better songs in my chart at the time that were all so much more worthy of the number one |

One of the worst runs is definitely Inspiral Carpets' "You're So Good For Me" at the end of 2011:

These are the ones that come to mind! Ones that spent less than 10 weeks on my chart: The Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Choir - A Bridge Over You [1-8-32-71>4] Jamala - 1944 [1-6-7-23-40-78>6] Wealdstone Raider - Got No Fans [3-1-5-11-17-24-36-51>8] (Fun fact: This charted back when my chart was a Top 50/60 chart on a charts archive wiki before I started the chart on Buzzjack as a 75/100 chart) Eagles Of Death Metal - Save A Prayer [1-5-12-14-20-37-50-46-85>9] |

Since I've made the topic I can add another one to the list, this one really has a terrible run.
Morten ~ Beautiful Heartbeat [Avicii Remix] [feat. Frida Sundemo] 1-1-11-40-37-43-x [6 weeks] It only made #1 from the hype of being the first thing Avicii had done for a few months, I know This run however is made up for that the rest of my #1s this year have had very steady runs [and I'm only on 8 #1s so far yaaayyy (I love long #1s)] |

Are those chart runs in above posts for sales only with no streaming?
If so what would Union J "You got it all" (song) chart run been like? I remember their combined run being 2, 34, 70ish. I also remember them being No.1 on the mids. I do feel really bad for them as it did look for about a week that the stars had finally lined up for them only to be forgotten a couple of weeks later. |
