You have one vote so make it count . Remember to vote for the song you think will do the best in the contest.
Leaving this for a few days, Thursday probably will be the last day.
'Cupid Boy' for me. Still can't believe they didn't try it!
Got to be out of 'Cupid Boy' and 'Like a Drug' for me. Both scream missed single opportunities - the former was such a huge pop song and really in-your-face (in a good way, like undeniable) and the latter seemed to highlight the sound its parent album was trying to aim for and feels like such a sophisticated pop song that could have potentially opened her to a different audience.
Like A Drug.
I've settled with 'Like a Drug'. My only struggle is knowing where to place it on the timeline of X singles, but it clearly needed to be in there.
'Aphrodite', 'Disco Down' and 'Kiss Me Once' are all standout album tracks but I don't mind them remaining just that. 'Cupid Boy' still should definitely have been a single.
Like a drug.

Like a drug.
Guess we have a winner then good job.
Very happy to see 'Like a Drug' going through. A very strong track in itself, but it also suits the title of "missed opportunity" as well. Listening to it now, it's just so stylish and sexy and doesn't even require having a climax or peak to keep you hooked. Could definitely have opened some doors for Kylie but it's easy to see why the likes of 'Wow' and 'In My Arms' were chosen - both sounding far too much like single material themselves to just remain album tracks.
Like a Drug will always scream missed opportnity for me. I still believe it would have been a hit for her. Its more annoying that a song of this quality is an album track while far waeker songs went on to be singles further down her career.
I still think Like a Drug sounds fresh to this day.
