Hope John is Ok, the lack of top 16's was already making it look a near Trump walkover and this just adds to that, if Trump is anywhere near his usual form cant see anyone in this field stopping him.

World number one Judd Trump won his fourth ranking event of the season as he thrashed Jack Lisowski 9-2 in the German Masters final.
The pair shared the opening two frames, before 31-year-old Trump claimed seven frames in a row. Lisowski, 29, took the 10th frame, but a break of 119 – the only century in the final – gave Trump, who also made five half-century breaks, the victory. Trump won this event in 2020 when it was staged at the Tempodrom in Berlin. |

Due to a glitch in the system it seems hendry won’t be in the welsh open because there is no record of him entering. It’s not known I’d world snooker tour will step in with a solution. At this rate hendry will be making his comeback in world championship.

O'Sullivan also the first player to reach 3 Home Nations Finals on the same season. He might have only won one of them, but since 2016 he's been pretty consistent.

I think a win would also make Ronnie the oldest Welsh Open champion, replacing Higgins (who won in 2018).
All 10 ranking finals so far this season have featured at least one of Judd, Selby, and Ronnie. This is the first to not feature Judd or Selby. |

Jordan Brown has won the 2021 Welsh Open after beating Ronnie O'Sullivan in a final-frame decider in Newport.
The final at Celtic Manor was a tight affair, but it was Northern Ireland's Brown, 33, who pulled off a shock 9-8 victory to deny O'Sullivan, 45. Brown built on afternoon lead of 5-3 to lift the Ray Reardon trophy and claim the winner's cheque for £70,000. Jordan Brown was 750/1 the beginning of the tournament. bloody hell he really played well, one of the most shocking results in snooker. |

Those 750-1 odds are longer than the ones offered against Joe Johnson when he caused a major upset by winning the World Champio0nship in 1986.

Some result for the Irish man, they had a report on him on tonight’s news over here and he used to work in a petrol station until a short time ago.
Not really a snocker fan but fair play, is the Welsh open that big though? |

Not really a snocker fan but fair play, is the Welsh open that big though? It's been an established ranking event since 1992, it is quite big part of the Home Nation series. I know Tony Meo was 200-1 to win the 1989 British Open and Dave Harold was 500- 1 when he won the 1993 Asian Open. |

Snooker players Reanne Evans and Ng On-yee can turn professional from the start of the 2021-22 season with two-year tour cards.
The move comes as part of an agreement between the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) and World Snooker Tour (WST). England's Evans is top of the World Women's Snooker (WWS) rankings, while Hong Kong's Ng is in second place. |

The draw for the Tour Championship won’t be known until later today. I’m going to predict that whoever Ronnie O’Sullivan draws will be the game tomorrow as none of those potential opponents will be in MK. Whether it’s Higgins, Robertson or Selby I think that will be the Monday game now.
