Ariana has acknowledged the (slightly belated?) 1 year anniversary of this on her instagram today! I've always liked 'Dance To This' (it was a top 20 hit in my personal chart from the word go) but it's grown on me so much more over the months, such a lush collaboration <3 the vid is cute too!

I was a bit underwhelmed at first because it didn't hit me like a Troye/Ari collab should have, but it's held up so well and I think it'll continue to sound really fresh wub.gif

I feel like if it was released 6 months later this could have actually been huge? By that point Ariana had reached the point where anything she threw out could make the top 10, and also '1999' and 'I'm So Tired' had been pretty sizeable hits with Troye's name attached.

That's such a good point! What could have potentially been sad.gif Even 'MONOPOLY' received a top 25 peak since and that's more of a for the fans thing. This peaking at #64 is just disgusting tbh.

Ariana picked up on a stan tweet about the music video coming out two years ago today! I love how carefree and cute the MV is.

I hope the two of them work together again at some point! If two Charli x Troye collabs can happen then I don't see why not with Ariana too tbh x
