Imagine America's Next Top Model and Project Runway COMBINED and done with drag queens. Highly addictive and filled with quotes. Judges include Santino Rice (Project Runway, Season 2 - 3rd Place) and the fabulous Michelle Visage (imagine Nina Garcia but FIERCE and IN YER FACE). Currently on Season 4, next Season will be All-Stars. Yes Tyra, All-Stars. FAB |

There is no where NEAR enough love for this show in here! (Although I am relieved to even have found a thread about it in the first place.)
I was introduced to this by a friend after many months of 'not getting round to it' and it is THE televisual discovery of 2012 for me. It's so trashy and bitchy as expected and one of the most quotable shows I've watched, but it also has a lot of heart as you get to hear about some very personal troubles that some of these gay men have been through. They also have 'celebrity' guest judges such as Amber Riley from Glee and Pamela Anderson from her sex tape. The winner of this season (revealed on Monday) is very different to what you'd expect from a drag queen too. |

Ha! I love Willam. He really grew on me towards the end (I think it was the reunion that did it), despite acting like a bitch to everybody the whole time.

This is phenomenal. It's knowingly trashy but such an excellent programme for the gay community and issues within. I'm sure it has given a lot of people a lot of strength and help overcoming problems in their lives. RuPaul is fabulous too.
I might start hanging out at drag nights in the future x x x |

This is my new addiction. Absolutely love it. Just started watching the most recent series and my favourites are Sharon Needles, Willam (for how dry and bitchy he is) and Jiggly.
Glad The Princess went, he annoyed me so much. I loved that shy guy who went in episode two though, he was adorable! |

I really fancied the Princess (my BJ reality) This programme is so SO good and you'll get just desserts at end of season 4. Ru makes the world tastyy... |

I thought I'd bump this topic as sort of an off-season topic to discuss all things Drag Race.
I've just started watching the previous seasons, having become hooked on season 8. Thank god for Netflix! I had to find season 7 online so I'm only just starting that but I've watched 4, 5 & 6 and I watched them backwards. Just finished season 4 and I have to say that I'm completely underwhelmed that Sharon Needles won. I guess she's not my kinda drag, though. I was all for Phi Phi (though, I think it's because he is HOT in and out of drag) but I was surprised to see the hate that she got! I mean, Jiggly nearly having a breakdown on reunited because she told her to do serious instead of comedy. B!tch, it's a competition.. |

I've changed this to a general discussion thread, think it makes sense to have an alternative place in between seasons to put stuff like that. Seeing as people are constantly finding this and re-watching old episodes.

Sharon is easily the Season 4 winner to me. Latrice was so loveable but as a whole package, she couldn't win it, she started to dip at the end and some of her runways were pedestrian beyond belief. Outside of 'winning it' though, obviously LOVE Latrice.
This is one of my favourite lines/moments EVER: |

I do agree. I see why Latrice did not/could not win, and Sharon was the worthy winner. But Latrice will forever be my fav from any season, past, present, future
That line was pure gold |

Latrice had some amazing moments and one-liners, she was definitely worthy of Miss Congeniality.
I do see that Sharon was great at what she did and I can understand her winning for sure. She was different and she stuck with it. I always love the pageant queens, I just admire how stunning they are. But I live for the comedy queens just as much.. Bianca & Jinkx are my faves. I'm halfway through season 7 now and can I just say one thing.. PEARL <3. omg she's pretty. he's pretty. gorgeous. |

And I just got Row H! I am in shock and now I'm going! This post has been edited by Kye: 13th February 2017, 08:56 PM |

So I am currently rewatching these (seasons 6, 4, 5 in that order in just a few days and now on 7 and Trixie's elimination which was unfair as FUCK). Next All-Stars 2 coz Katya <333333
God I was reminded of SO many good moments and looks. This is a truly iconic show. Having a boyfriend who is also a massive fan (because of me) is amazing btw~ |
