He’s been away for 2 years but it feels like much longer as it was 2015(!) when he last appeared in the charts. He tweeted earlier this month that he’s committing to producing a new single so I’m looking forward to hearing it! Alone Mo More was THAT bop.

Looking forward to this! He had a little about him that made his music stand out a bit - hopefully he picks up where he left off on that front.

Oh I hated that organ house sound around in 2015 and made popular again by Philip George - thought the synths sounded cold and distant. Although I have completely changed my opinion since then - I like the effect now.

Oh, that was some of the stuff that made 2015 for me! Particularly Joe Stone's 'The Party'.

Something is definitely coming, he’s changed all his social media accounts and launched a new website this week. It’s just not clear what it is all building up to...

Still just teasing “soon” but he has remixed Erasure’s current single

Nice he’s still with 3 Beat tbh! Guess they allowed him to have some creative space and not just churn out single after single.

Odd though that in six years this’ll only be his fifth single

He’s said it’s ‘original music’ in a story posted earlier so I’m guessing not

It is certainly sounding quite dated, like something Rudimental would have released around 5 years ago. I’m not sure this is the sound I was hoping for from Philip George after his anthem Wish You Were Mine.

This does sound dated but no more than the MK track that has come out today too. It’s like he’s stuck in 2014 but I still kind of love that production sound and who doesn’t love a piano house track?

Riva Starr remix sounds a little bit more updated dance.gif
