An open race for the #1 single, with Stormzy challenged by Roddy Ricch, Eminem and Future for the top spot. Potential new entries include The 1975's Me & You Together Song, Jonas Brothers with What a Man Gotta Do, BTS with Black Swan and DigDat/Aitch with Ei8ht Mile

Eminem is set for a tenth consecutive #1 album with Music To Be Murdered By. Among the many big new releases are Halsey's Manic, The Courteeners with More. Again. Forever., Bombay Bicycle Club's first album in six years Everything Else Has Gone Wrong, Louise's first in twenty years with Heavy Love, and Mac Miller's posthumous release Circles. Other new releases include DigDat, Gabrielle Aplin, Magnum and Mura Masa

Breakdown of the week
- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.
- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm
- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm
- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.
- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.
- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)
- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).
- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.
- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored.
- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

Really interested to see the first midweek sales for both albums and singles this week, sort of feels like the first week of the year with all the new stuff out.

Would be great to see The 1975 back in the top 40, which is looking pretty likely *.*

Bombay Bicycle Club reaching the top 5 would be cool, think they’ll land just outside though since it’s a busy week

Will be interesting for albums this week, think Eminem unfortunately has #1 on lock, but I'm not sure how Halsey, Courteeners & Bombay Bicycle Club will end up - all could be Top 5.

Eminem has certainly got the #1 album. I think the top 5 could be new albums but in what order after Eminem, its wide open, Stormzy could be as low as #6 or #7. With Lewis maybe holding the #5 position.

Really intrigued to see how Louise does with her new album. She's had multiple formats, and a smallish but dedicated fanbase that will have spent big. I wouldn't be surprised to see her about no6 in the first midweeks but also wouldn't be shocked if it was no16.

would be Meduza's 11th week in the top 20 with a #11 peak if they stay there, how frustrating that it never went top ten, and it could've done it had it not been prematurely put on ACR.
