Expecting the JLS results to be largely awful. I feel like the only one to see Proud, Hottest Girl In The World and Hold Me Down for the great songs that they are 
Do You Feel What I Feel had some criminally low scores too.
The others I expect to be about right (with Gotta Be You / Walks Like Rihanna failing etc.)

It's the moment you've all been waiting for. The results are finally here. Thousands of you voted (quite literally compared to how many normally vote in rates around this part x), and now it's time to find out which boy band BuzzJack considers the absolute best in recent years!
With vote exclusions, PLENTY of -1's and a lot of love being spread around for One Direction, The Vamps, The Wanted, 5 Seconds of Summer and JLS - let's not waste any more time and get the show on the road!
And what better way to start than by revealing the song which has, unfortunately (I'll let you be the judge of that...), finished last.49

Nobody really seemed to care for this at all. A large amount of you opted not to vote for the song instead of voting for it, and those of you that did vote for it didn't rate it highly at all (apart from Adam. Really Adam..?) Many 02.0's were spread about, while its highest score besides Adam's 08.0 was 04.5 - so it's not done very well at all. There really isn't much to be said at all about the song either... It's basic, and it was obvious we were approaching the end of JLS. Both this and its counterpart 'Hold Me Down' were just pure lazy.

But I won't be hearing a bad word about "Hold Me Down"! Essential JLS for me, I think it's fab and very underrated.

Oops, JLS not doing well so far at all. Two more of their singles crash out in second-last and third-last place. Hardly surprising that 'The Club is Alive' has finished this low considering four of you gave it -1's. 
I'm not a massive fan of the song, but I wouldn't say it's their worst song. Well, maybe it's a contender actually. Then we have 'Proud', their Sport Relief single, not too far in front. I must say I don't get how this has finished so low. A very nice song for a great cause. But let's move swiftly on...

Proud is such a dull and bland ballad, and in fact JLS is probably my least fave out of the boybands on this rate. I really liked them when they first came out, I loved "Beat Again" and "Everybody In Love" was quite decent, and even bought the debut album which was terrible, the only decent tracks were the singles and "Kickstart". But when they brought out "The Club Is Alive", I just kinda went off them, despite a few decent tunes "Eyes Wide Shut" and "She Makes Me Wanna", they just didn't recover for me. They could have been great, I remember seeing them on X Factor and thought they were fantastic, and knew they would be huge, I was hoping for a British Boyz II Men type group, but no instead we had a bunch of rubbish generic crap throwaways that will be forgotten in a year.

lol at JLS - that's now three in a row they've had. I must admit, while I feel sorry for them losing so many at such an early stage, 'Hottest Girl in the World' is hardly anything amazing, so deserved to go. They were going well until that point, and when that single dropped things all just kind of went 
... Then just above that, we have 'Walks Like Rihanna'. I'm extremely disappointed with the three people who decided to give it a -1. 
Such a brilliant song, an early indication that what we got from 'Word of Mouth' was going to be great! And there are certain parts of the video that are very nice.

Walks Like Rihanna is so bland. And the song doesn't even make sense because Rihanna doesn't have a distinctive/iconic walk. Walks like Beyonce would've been more appropriate.

I don't get the "Hottest Girl In The World" hate. It's really catchy and I love the vibe and this is from someone who isn't that fussed about the band.
"Walks Like Rihanna" though.. I can enjoy it in an ironic way but the entire thing is so cringe.

Honestly "Hottest Girl In The World" is awful and wrecked the 4th album campaign before it even begun.
Also "Walks Like Rihanna" I do like it and find it really catchy and a definite step up from "I Found You", but it did kinda wreck The Wanted's career though.

Another one bites the dust for JLS. Looks like they could very soon end up with the same amount of songs left in the running as 5SOS and The Vamps had at the start. 'Hold Me Down' is awful. I can't even remember how it goes, and I'm not sure I want to because almost everything that came out of the 'Evolution' era was diabolical. Bless resident troll Lee for trying though. And then just below that we have 'Gotta Be You' by One Direction - HOW?! I still do not understand the constant hate this song gets. It didn't perform well, fact. The video isn't exactly anything amazing, fact. The song's not their best, fact. But it's still a bloody good ballad. Get over it haters x No doubt it'd be Joseph's favourite 1D song if Harry was naked in the video ny2

JLS Hold Me Down, should not have had a higher average than 1D's Gotta Be You. Okay both songs aren't great but at least "GBY" sounds like they made an effort, that "HMD" was just terrible, something you can tell they just chucked out at the last minute and was probably written and recorded within an hour and that JLS was definitely splitting after their one last album deal on their contract.

Another of One Direction's singles drops out, and this time it's the Comic Relief charity single from 2012 - a cover of Blondie's 'One Way Or Another', mashed up with 'Teenage Kicks'. It's a good cover for what it's worth, and it was for a good cause, so I don't really understand why it gets as much hate as it does, but obviously this was originally by a quen of rock or whatever. And then we have the poor Wanted with their flop of a last single before they went on their """""break""""". Nathan's now gone solo, so the chances of them getting back together are likely next to zero. But anyway, this was such a poor single for them to bow out on. 'Show Me Love (America)' should have been their swansong, and then they could have faded into irrelevance.

I feel sorry for all of the songs that have finished below 'I Found You'. It really is one of the biggest atrocities ever committed in the world of pop music. The fact that Adam even gave this an 11 (!). Ew. It's honestly such a horrid song, and Max just screeches the whole way through it. One would rely on a very big dosage of Co-Codamol to put up with more than five seconds of it. 'Billion Lights' on the other hand isn't much better. JLS thinking this was a good way for them to bow out from the music scene, erm. They should have just ended after 'Jukebox' and used one of the singles from that era as the lead from 'Goodbye...' because everything that followed was just criminal.

'I Found You' is BRILLIANT. Like Scissor Sisters meets euro-pop, so of course I love it. I think Joseph and Calum just don't love themselves

The JLS singles just keep dropping like flies here - 'Take a Chance on Me' falls out next, and I don't even remember how that song goes at all, so it can't have been anything special or memorable at all. However, just in front of that song we have The Vamps' first single dropping out. Sad cat. Although it is, IMO, the weakest of their singles, it definitely shouldn't be out this early, especially when there are still so many JLS and The Wanted singles remaining. So now that leaves us with 5 Seconds of Summer being the only band with all singles remaining.

Funnily enough I have trouble remembering how JLS "Take A Chance On Me" goes as well, another dire song from them like so many of them (The Club Is Alive, Proud, Hottest Girl In The World, Billion Lights, Do You Feel Like I Feel and this one.
The Vamps though I do like them and find several of their songs enjoyable, but glad "Oh Cecilia" dropped first, it's definitely the weakest from them.

Probably one of their weakest singles to date, it didn't exactly do much charts-wise upon release, and it was all kind of forgotten about very quickly. Still a very good song overall though. And then following that, 5 Seconds of Summer's fourth single 'Good Girls' drops out. Definitely deserved to finish higher than this, but it had measly scores from a lot of people all-round. Still remains such an amazing track!

Was horrified for a moment as I thought Good Girls was below Midnight Memories The latter is awful and didn't deserve to even do this well, Good Girls is amazing (don't ask me to choose between it, SLSP and Amnesia though), such an anthem and LOVE the video.

I had a feeling that the first 5SOS single to drop would be Good Girls, it's an okay track though, but not something that sticks in my mind though. One Direction's "Midnight Memories" is a decent enough track and should have stayed as an album track only, just doesn't work as a single, especially compared to the brilliant "BSE" and "SOML". "Diana" I still think that should have been the 3rd single.

Another JLS single bites the dust, and this time it's their Children in Need single from way back when. 'Love You More' is a beautiful ballad, so I expected it to perform better than this (top 20 at least!). And then we have The Wanted's second single. This really was a bit of a come-down after 'All Time Low'. While the aforementioned was good, they'd yet to prove themselves and this really was a miss. It's a nice song, but it just doesn't *do* anything.

JLS - Love You More is an okay nice enough ballad, but pretty forgettable though and places at about the right place on here.
The Wanted - Heart Vacancy, I do agree, doesn't compare to "All Time Low", but okay though, nothing special, just a typical run of the mill boyband ballad.

Surprised to see so little love for 'Show Me Love (America)'. I thought this was considered one of their best? Of course, with it being The Wanted, it could still be one of their best and warrant low scores at the same time, which says a lot about the quality of their other singles more than anything. But yeah, thought this would be in the top 30, at least. And then just in front of that we have yet another JLS track - this time 'Do You Feel What I Feel?'. I can't quite remember how this one goes besides the title in the chorus. JLS now have only 5 singles left standing.

JLS - Do You Feel What I Feel, totally forgettable, but it isn't as bad as some of their other dire singles. The Wanted - Show Me Love (America), is an okay song, but did kinda mark their end.

Quite a few surprises this time around, but unfortunately for The Wanted (not surprisingly, though) - it's a triple elimination. We see 'Gold Forever' (which is undoubtedly one of their best, so I don't know why there's still quite a few above it), 'We Own the Night' (which wasn't exactly anything amazing but it was good for their last album) and 'Warzone', which is one of their best songs also - and one that Nathan really stands out in. 'Amnesia' by 5 Seconds of Summer is the biggest shock of the five for me though, obviously not as many people love this song as I do. Such a beautiful, touching ballad though. A firm favourite of mine from them. And then we also have 'Last Night' by The Vamps leaving at this early stage - wouldn't have predicted that one either, but what can you do. Would probably say the three remaining songs from them are the right ones, however.

Another shock this time around with 'Wild Heart' by The Vamps dropping out before we reach the top 20! Would have thought that would've been their highest placing single here, but alas it is not. We have a double JLS elimination and a double One Direction elimination also. 'Little Things' and 'Live While We're Young', both singles from the 'Take Me Home' era, fail to make it into the top 20 - not surprising to see the former fall short, but the latter... I'd probably have had it up there. Meanwhile, we say goodbye to both 'One Shot' and 'Everybody in Love' from JLS. Would have thought 'Everybody in Love' would manage to sneak into the top 20. Wut is happening.

The latter is DEFINITELY one that should have been in the top 10, let's be honest. 'One Thing' though, should have been gone long before now. 'Lightning' makes an appearance from The Wanted... erm... Don't really understand why this has managed to get as high as it has, but we'll go with it. 5SOS' début single 'She Looks So Perfect' fails to make the top 10 despite also being one of the best songs here. And I don't really know what to say about 'Eyes Wide Shut'. JLS ha flops.

Some big casualties here just missing out on the top 10. We have yet another double elimination for One Direction - 'Steal My Girl', the lead single from 'FOUR' drops out, but that's not much of a surprise because it's one of their weakest songs, easily. 'You & I', however, is a completely different story. By far and away one of their best ballads and should have managed to slip into the top 10 were it not for Ultra's trolling. Then we have The Wanted's best song 'Lose My Mind' failing to make the top 10. What is this f***ery?! The Vamps' début single 'Can We Dance' falls short, it's not their best single but they now only have one song remaining in the countdown. Meanwhile for poor 5SOS though, all of their songs are out of the running now. 'Don't Stop' is the last to fall. It's always been well received on Buzzjack, but it's probably my least favourite single of theirs.

Not sure why 'Chasing the Sun' managed to make the top 10, that's a bit of a shit single from The Wanted, although the majority of their back catalogue is just that. 'She Makes Me Wanna' also makes a surprise appearance here - who knew people liked it so much? 'Beat Again', JLS' début single also drops out here though. It hasn't aged that well at all, I don't think.
