If it doesn't work, I really wouldn't mind, I'd kinda prefer for it to be one big final anyway so everyone has two chances in the final and not have it be unbalanced. But that might just be impossible with the doubling of entries.

Just waiting ro hear back from Brer and Silas aboot the veto panel and dates and then the Xmas edition will begin!
 I might open up confirmations tomorrow and just finalise the other dates behind the scenes to speed it up.

 I'd quite like to see a spin-off happen at some point this year given I and probably a lot of us have a lot more time on our hands. I don't actually have a new idea, but there was one that I really liked the idea of a while back that never came into fruition that I'd like to try out. I'd be very willing to put myself forward to host it some time soon (if you don't mind leww?), what do people think? |

I would be happy to host another spin off too if we're bringing these back (if there aren't (m)any volunteers who haven't hosted in a long time/at all), I'd also really like to see another Worldvision, Masquerade and Reinvention.
I am presuming there are no current plans for an end-of-decade contest so if there is interest I could run one that puts all the winners of the 2010s up against each other. I did one of these five years ago with every winner since the beginning (almost to the day) but of course there've been many more since then. (results if anyone wants to know) |

oh yeah rate to be more specific, what I hosted back then was a rate.
(there's actually 98 winners in the 2010s due to there being only 8 contests in 2010)

A #BlackArtMatters contest celebrating and uplifting solely black/African musicians? Seems very fitting for the times and would be awesome to see more support for the community.
Could just be a very minor way for BJ to show it’s black members that we are there for them and that they are valid regardless of how the world can be. |

We were discussing spinoffs on plug.dj the other day and I think we're going for a Worldvision next (Dan has offered to host it) which I'll aim to organise in the v near future. |
