Zara!
 So they've taken the rare decision to remove 'Stick Season' while it's still at #1 - although I don't really get the point of moving that (along with RAYE and Zach Bryan) to the Hot Recurrents list, as it'll still just feel like they're all on the playlist lol. Has anyone managed to work out roughly how many plays a song on the Recurrents list gets in a week? Not them picking my least favourite Declan McKenna single this era as the only one to A-list  'Sympathy' should really have been A-listed over this. |

I think the Hot Recurrents list has always been there (as others have already said). Previously, you’d still hear some A-list songs recently removed from the playlist maybe once every one/two days so I think this is just the same.
Does Dua Lipa really need 11 straight weeks on the A-list? Pleasantly surprised to see The Blessed Madonna as TOTW. |

Nothing Works is by far my favourite / the most radio friendly / the best(?) song of Declan's new era, the others haven't really felt like singles to me. Therefore pretty surprised to see this one A listed.

I'd say it's more down to the fact that it's the single immediately preceding the album that's made them A-list it rather than the quality of the song.

Oof my 3 favourite songs on the playlist all dropped at once (although at least Zach lives on on the recurrents list - I think that's a good idea to have to phase songs out of rotation a bit more gradually).
Yay for 'redrum' being A-Listed but not a great looking update otherwise although do still need to hear the Benson Boone and Skepta songs. Also intrigued at a Grian Chatten feature on the Introducing song this week. Odd decision from Travis Scott's people to try and push 'FE!N' now instead of 'MY EYES' while that is actually charting (and is much better x). I did hear that Declan song on R1 the other day and don't think it's up to much unfortunately. |
