BRING IT ON! cheer.gif

Posted by: liamk97 5th February 2019, 10:45 AM

This and Glastonbury were the big rumoured gigs when the summer shows were first announced and now they've both come true! cheer.gif

Posted by: Dannyboy 5th February 2019, 12:38 PM

I bought my ticket today, can’t wait

Posted by: pippa 5th February 2019, 02:45 PM

With both Gigs conformed, a new Greatest Hits really should get a release in either June or July.

Posted by: ___∆___ 5th February 2019, 04:03 PM

So pleased I got my early bird £10 ticket when rumours first started circulating she would perform cheer.gif

What a way to promote a new GH - if they get the album/formats right it could be a HUGE seller wub.gif

Posted by: pippa 5th February 2019, 04:35 PM

If it gets the same treatment as Golden the Greatest Hits could sell even more.

She certainly has enough promo lined up with the shows alone to help it sell big - add in media promo and she could easily have a Platinum GH.

Posted by: pippa 11th February 2019, 03:07 PM

A platinum Greatest Hits initially with further slow sales for a long period would be wonderful.

No, lots of rumours regarding it though and that it will be different from what she’s be doing recently. Even if a set list gets released/leaked I want to be surprised!

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 1st August 2019, 10:31 PM

Into the blue might get performed.

Posted by: ___∆___ 3rd August 2019, 10:52 AM

So excited - have fun everyone else that’s going yahoo.gif

Kylie’s team are posting links to her Pride streaming playlist on all her social media - get those stream sales Queen cheer.gif

Whoever is going enjoy and i look forward to the feedback.

Posted by: HausofTove 4th August 2019, 12:56 AM

What an incredible set. Of all pride events I have been to this was easily the best performance. She was so engaged with the crowd, delivered vocals, dance moves, comedy, emotions.. everything.

I bawled my eyes crying to All The Lovers, even away from pride events it was one of the most touching and beautiful tour performances I have ever witnessed.

My love for this woman is at an all time high.

Pride encapsulated.

Posted by: ___∆___ 4th August 2019, 08:27 AM

What an epic night. It really felt like a homecoming to the audience that have stuck by her through the years.

Kylie proved she doesn’t need shock tactics, trashy outfits etc., and it’s so incredible to witness her at this stage in her career - she’s having fun, is successful and this really feels like she’s cementing her place in pop for many more years of success.

Posted by: ___∆___ 4th August 2019, 08:37 AM

Also the reaction to YDNY was immense and she performed it perfectly wub.gif

Posted by: ___∆___ 4th August 2019, 09:36 AM

Lots of positive press today -

I was there and omg she made me fall in love with her all over again. I’ve been a bit of a casual fan for a long time, the last album I really invested in was Aphrodite, although I bought SBIT: The Greatest Hits, but wow I am obsessed all over again! She sounded amazing, put on a fab show, it was just such a wonderful atmosphere utterly amazing!

This version of Slow btw, Jesus I bloody love it, easily my fave performance!

Posted by: ___∆___ 4th August 2019, 11:56 AM

^^ Love this! I really feel that Kylie and her team have got this and the Golden era so right and especially Glastonbury and Pride have been successful in bring back the general public and casual fans to the world of Kylie.

the ultimate gay anthem

Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn 4th August 2019, 01:36 PM

I have to say, that was my second favourite time I'd ever seen her (out of 7).

Such euphoria and happiness. I got so into it that my shoe fell off during 'Dancing' laugh.gif Fortunately some kind soul in the crowd found it a few minutes later and handed it back to me.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 4th August 2019, 01:52 PM

Great to hear ye had a good night and agree kylie really seems to be enjoying herself so so much right now.

Your Disco Needs You surely went down a storm?
Was The One performed?

Yes both got a great response showing how well known they are despite the fact one flopped and the other is an album track.

Posted by: pippa 5th August 2019, 03:04 PM

Is it fair to say one flopped when never truly pushed as a single?
I am happy she performed The One.

Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn 6th August 2019, 08:42 AM

She introduced it as being a "fan favourite"

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 6th August 2019, 11:33 AM

Good that she is aware of its popularity.

That’s what I love about Kylie - she’s totally aware of her audience and what they want, she sung YDNY and The One at her Golden album launch in New York.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 6th August 2019, 12:24 PM

They are 2 big songs for the fan's so her acknowledge that shows she is since way in tune with her fans.

Posted by: pippa 6th August 2019, 01:38 PM

It is important she is in tune with her fans, especially now as her mainstream popularity is harder to keep the fire burning.
If she takes on board the fans she at the very least will have them supporting her.

Yes, very fair, because it WAS pushed as a single - she made a (cheap as hell) music video for it, sent it for radio airplay, released it digitally, etc.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 10th August 2019, 11:21 AM

Pulling the phyisical and no promo though at that time wasnt a full release.

Posted by: ___∆___ 10th August 2019, 01:22 PM

^^ I have to say I consider it a proper release - promo copies were sent out, remixes commissioned, music video, cover artwork, digital download package, mail out to her database.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 10th August 2019, 09:04 PM

I'm not saying I'm right it's only an opinion but I always felt it was like a canceled single.

Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn 12th August 2019, 07:57 AM

It was on the Radio 1 playlist, so it's definitely a single. Admittedly an incredibly botched one, but still.

Posted by: pippa 22nd August 2019, 02:15 PM

How they botched up a single with such huge potential was a bad mistake.
Kylie herself would have to see the One had the potential for a huge hit is the release wasn't botched.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 22nd August 2019, 11:42 PM

Kylie knows this too well and didn't she make reference to that recently.
