this week we could see the first sales #1 to be #3 or lower combined, if Taylor Swift keeps selling lots this week as there's no way she'll make up the 30k needed to overtake Omi's streaming and I can see Lunchmoney Lewis/Wiz Khalifa possibly being ahead too

Deorro and Chris Brown are the first acts to be number 1 on sales but not top three combined!

Deorro was very lucky to make the sales #1, I imagine he didn't need to sell much to do so. anyway him being #4 officially is just more reason why streaming is definitely needed in the chart

Updated to include Glitterball in the losses column. Still waiting for the first overall number 1 never to get there on sales.

What Do You Mean this week is the first official number 1 single not to be top 5 on sales in the same week only making it to 7.

And it will break a record for most weeks gained at number 1. Let's prevent this from happening

Or how about not, when the alternative is having Jamie Lawson be the official #1 (and I imagine he'll be this week's sales #1)

He'll definitely be sales #1 but not official #1. If not JB, then R City or Drake for #1

Looks like he is unlikely to get there now too.

His sales chart run: 2-2-3-2-2-3* (6 weeks.. so far)

Sigala loses a week in favour of Mike Posner. He has now lost two weeks at #1 with two different songs. At least one of those songs has spent a week at #1 though

Drake gains a week and Calvin Harris loses a week. Never thought I'd see the day that Calvin Harris loses a #1 due to streaming rotf.gif

So Bieber - Sorry is the only song ever to be officially #1 without ever making #1 on sales.

I'm sure this will be repeated many times in the future
