It's only in the chart because of the genre and so streamers lap it up like so many of these types of artist this year!

I feel like this would better apply to the perfunctory likes of Lil Baby & Gunna. "Mo Bamba" sounds nothing like any other hit around (and is more sung than rap really). It's quite refreshing to hear a song whose main hook comes from the beat crashing mid-recording next to so many hits that sound focus grouped to the point of having nothing worth talking about.

Justine Skye (R&B singer) has spoken out about he has abused her in the past on Twitter.

His ''music'' is absolutely f***ing diabolical and I'd hope that'd mean it'd be the end of him, but looking at how 6ix9ine, Chris Brown and XXXTENTACION's careers are still doing .. probably not. sad.gif

This has been very disappointing to read about, it's got to the point where it's never particularly surprising when these new generation rappers turn out to be scumbags but generally we've known about that before they break through. Sheck Wes was a 'clean' artist before this. Ah well.

I don't see him being more than a one hit wonder anyway considering nothing else from his album has made even 1% the impact of 'Mo Bamba'.

This is a proper shame, "Mo Bamba" is one of the most unique tracks we've seen in the chart in ages. sad.gif
