After a whopping 36 votes, I've decided to close the rate and go ahead with the results, I'm away from Sunday so a weeks gap may occur.

The rates been open for two weeks so think everyones had enough time.

So here goes w00t.gif Any predictions?

#28. WALK THIS WAY

Featuring Girls Aloud
Chart Run 1-2-14-24-43-69-X

AVERAGE - 4.823

Highest Raters 10's TOMBO, JOSEPHSTYLES, *TIM
5 -01s

Coming in at #28 in the rate is the girl's comic relief offering in 'Walk This Way'. A track featuring Girls Aloud. Anyone surprised this is last? Personally for me it's just there, I don't think it's great or particularly that bad, I don't think the terrible z-list celebrities help either as their part just isn't funny and looks forced.

#27. FREEDOM

Average - 5.058

Highest Raters 11's RYAN.
10's OLIVER LEVISB TOMBO
1 -01

Coming in at #27 not really surprising to see Freedom here, although it wasn't too far off beating #26 which maybe from One Touch.

'Freedom' gets WAY too much hate just because it's by 4.0. In all honesty I would pick it over 'Flatline' any day.

'Walk This Way' deservedly last. Belongs in the category ''what were they thinking?''

#26. SOUL SOUND

Average - 5.147

Highest Rates 10 MARINA XCX

Chart Run 30-51-X

Next up comes Soul Sound it was released on 16 July 2001 as One Touch's fourth and final single. It remains one of their lowest-selling singles to date and was the final single to feature original member Siobhán Donaghy, who left the group in 2001. (During a gig, in the toilet, climbed through the window and off into the hills apparently) Can anyone clear that story up yet? Personally I think this song is possibly their worst, different but just nothing to it for me.

I like all the songs so far.

I'm not surprised to see Freedom here but I personally think it is a very good track.

Soul Sound is a lovely track wub.gif

#25. NO CAN DO

Average - 5.205

Highest Votes 9's LEVISB TOMBO

Chart Run 23-36-44-66-X

Next up is the second single taken from 'Catfights & Spotlights', 'No Can Do'. I don't think it's necessarily their worst song, but it shouldn't have been released imo. Always remember it's #23 peak coming out of nowhere, sure it was nowhere to be seen on iTunes in the run up to the release, even remember the Paul O'Grady performance doing nothing. Did Radio 1 even playlist this?

She supposedly "excused" herself during an interview in Japan, but did not go out the toilet window.

And I love Soul Sound, but I guess that's what I get for not voting!

#24. GIRLS

Average 5.305

Highest Votes 10's LEVISB TOMBO MARINA XCX

Chart Run 8-4-3-10-14-17-31-37-33-34-47-58-66-58-57-X

Next up is the first single from 'Catfights & Spotlights, 'Girls', it has to be their most disappointing comeback single no? I was always surprised it did as well as it did tbh. Think Boots having it on their adverts at the time could have been a big help, could have possibly been number 1 I guess if it was held back them two weeks before it peaked?

The Girls release was such an utter shambles. It was if it is the labels/managements first time ever releasing as single! I still think they should have played up the charity side more, mentioned it in promo and bagged a #1 as a charity single.

Soul Sound is very average, it's nice enough but easy to see why it's pretty much forgotten now.

Girls and No Can Do aren't bad songs but were pretty bad single choices sad.gif I can understand Girls I guess but No Can Do is just a good album track, nothing more to it.
