The entry window has closed, and I will be revealing the answers shortly.

Thank you to the 27 participants who took the time to send me answers to this chart quiz, but was anyone able to correctly guess all album covers...

Stay tuned for the answers! biggrin.gif

As a reminder, points were allocated as follows;

10 points for correct artist and album.
or
5 points for correct artist (without album name)
or
5 points for correct album (without artist name)

and there were lots of ways to earn extra points including;

25 bonus points for correctly guessing the number of ‘Greatest Hits’ albums (this includes any album with a collection of the artist’s hits or singles from other albums by that artist, not just albums with “Greatest Hits” in their title)
and
25 bonus points for correctly guessing the number of albums which peaked at #1 in the UK Albums Chart
and
10 bonus points for correctly guessing the two albums which did not chart in the UK Albums Chart

4. MGMT – Oracular Spectacular
Release year: 2007 UK Chart Peak: #8 Greatest Hits: No

Indie rock group MGMT are the guys behind our next album cover from 2007 with their album Oracular Spectacular. The album spawned minor hits like Time To Pretend, Electric Feel and Kids (which later got sampled in the single Opposite Of Adults by Chiddy Bang. It seems that a few people here were wrongly convinced that the album was by Prince.

5. The Feeling – Join With Us
Release year: 2008 UK Chart Peak: #1 Greatest Hits: No

Does anyone remember The Feeling? Well certainly a few of you did, but this did prove to be one of the most challenging covers from this quiz, managing a 29.63% accuracy, despite featuring part of the logo in the art. It’s a surprise that this forgotten album made it to #1 because it only had one Top 40 hit on it, which was I Thought It Was Over.

Correct Answers: 8 of 27 (29.63%)
:'), Bjork, Cremey, DalekTurret32, M4NGO, PeteFromLeeds, The Hit Parade, West

Wrong Answers:
Daft Punk (Jade)
Estelle (Jordan Lee)
Maroon 5 (chrissmith276)
Scissor Sisters – Greatest Hits (Riser)
