After being one of people's least favourite Eurovision countries, Bulgaria are suddenly giving us quality after quality - in both Eurovision and Junior Eurovision. I think they will be keen to stick to their formula that worked so well with Poli's modern dance track combined with traditional elements. My tip for selection is Christiana Loizu. She is Cypriot but won X Factor Bulgaria earlier this year and there are a lot of Eurovision comments below her first post X Factor music video:

Something in that vein would be a great follow-up to the life-defining If Love Was A Crime, which incidentally became my most-played song of all-time while I was in Sofia a couple of months ago which was very cool! *.*

Speculation is currently rife that the latest hot new young trashy thang Gery Nikol is interested in taking a leaf out of Donatan & Cleo's book by sending an English version of her biggest hit 'Gotina & Luda' (trans. 'Cool & Crazy'). If it's her or not (and being Bulgaria we're probably not going to know until the middle of March at least) then this hot piece of trash is at least worthy of your attention

BNT's Eurovision Twitter account have been iconic since their comeback in the main contest last year, constantly giving updates and teasing fans. They have gone ABSOLUTELY CRAZY tonight reeling off more than 20 tweets in minutes about the 6 songs that remain in their internal selection process! laugh.gif

Those song descriptions sound very exciting EXCEPT for song #4 which doesn't sound good at all. Apparently Gery-Nikol is likely to be amongst the six after much hype over the past couple of months as mentioned above, she would be a very out-there choice but would be the sort of thing that could win it for Bulgaria!

Bonbon was quite the hit in Europe last year and her music is from the same musical family.

Song #2 also sounds potentially a moment. Also, loving the excitement Bulgaria.

It is all but confirmed that song 1 is by Gery-Nikol, song 3 is by Kristian Kostov and song 5 is by Krista. You already know about Gery-Nikol, the other two are these (not necessarily the entered songs though):

(He is actually 16 and not 10, surprisingly decent song there though)

(A very old song I know)

Reports suggest Kristian has beaten Gery-Nikol to the ticket! sad.gif (Although the song above is pretty good, it's just not Gery-Nikol)

Easy qualifier, top 10 contender but not a winner. Very modern, on-trend and could definitely be a new James Arthur single. Definitely continues Bulgaria's journey into a Ryan country rather than a messy Iz country *.*

I miss the crazy and risk-taking Bulgaria. This could be from anywhere and on any Spotify playlist and it's dull as all f***.

*gets them a second top 10 in a row and they take that as a message to repeat this* sad.gif

WASH YOUR MOUTH OUT the latter is infinitely more fun.

Modern and on-trend is currently a SHITSHOW.

This is immediately in Bulgaria's top 3 entries just because they were so poor before their break (never really got the appeal of Water as I've said many times before), doesn't quite beat either Poli yet though!
