Dancing looks like it really does not want to leave the iTunes top 100. I welcome it staying for as long as possible.

I was just reading through the beginning of the original thread again and this post made me laugh in hindsight.
"Steps managed a decently selling top 40 single and a Gold certified slbum, Kylie wishes she could match that." |

The full chart hasn't been revealed yet but Kylie's chart history on the Billboard site is saying 'Dancing' has peaked at #1 on the Dance Club Play chart!

She has done incredibly well to stay on the chart as long as she has managed.

I wonder will it eventually creep to 100k sales or will stay short of it forever?

Pretty good going to have only fallen out the Top 100 now, I think! I don't think it received a discount, did it? As for its total sales, it's probably at the 80k mark now so 100k is not out of the question.
From Billboard regarding Kylie's 14th #1 on the Dance Club Songs chart: QUOTE Kylie Minogue captures her 14th No. 1 on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart, as "Dancing" rises 2-1 (on the list dated May 12). The Australian icon ties Dave Aude, Lady Gaga, Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull for 10th place on the list of acts with the most leaders in the chart's nearly 42-year history; Madonna reigns with 46 No. 1s (see below).
The original poppy "Dancing" was remixed for clubs by Anton Powers, Illyus & Barrientos and Initial Talk, among others. The track, from Minogue's Nashville-inspired album Golden, is her first Dance Club Songs entry since fall 2015, when "The Other Boys" (by NERVO featuring Minogue, Jake Shears & Nile Rodgers) became her 13th topper. "Dancing" is Minogue's first No. 1 as a lead act in four years, since "Into the Blue" in April 2014. Minogue scored her first of 18 top 10s and 23 chart hits 30 years ago this spring, when "I Should Be So Lucky" reached No. 10 (on June 4, 1988). She earned her second top 10 and first No. 1, "Can't Get You Out of My Head," nearly 12 years later in 2002. Dating to the Dance Club Songs chart's Aug. 28, 1976, inception as a national survey, here's an updated look at the acts with the most No. 1s: 46, Madonna 32, Rihanna 22, Beyonce 19, Janet Jackson 18, Katy Perry 17, Mariah Carey 17, Kristine W 16, Jennifer Lopez 15, Donna Summer 14, Dave Aude 14, Lady Gaga 14, Enrique Iglesias 14, Kylie Minogue 14, Pitbull |

Wonderful to see Dancing back on the iTunes chart again after a brief absence. Its all helping to get the single to 100,000 sales which i truly believe will happen.
