All recent performances are so cool!

How about this?!
Not only Leo there but Michael Loney (his manager) is there! At first time together on live.
I just look thru the booklet's credits and found his name for Fairytales too. He played on tin whistle in a studio version as well.

This is lovely. One of my favourite tracks from the album.

Liked the nod to Rod on the T shirt

can't stop Christmas is used as jingle on television in NL and Germany. Have I seen it correct tht the highest position in the charts in the UK had been 11? This would be phenomenal
Well done

It hasn’t been in the official top 40, maybe it was a different chart

Do you know who the fourth person is? Beside Leo, Karl and Michael?

Yes, Owen Parker, he's a co-writer of Can't Stop Christmas and some songs in the past (Home, Darkest Night, etc.)

I've really enjoyed them because they have been pared down.

Highlighted the meaning in the songs.

So that's it for me for TCP for this year. wub.gif
No more listening for another year.
I have absolutely LOVED the new single and the video. What a bonus that was.
It will be interesting to see how it feels listening to that during Christmas 2021. I wonder what emotions it will bring back of our strange lockdown Christmas?

It will also depend on the development this year. Maybe we will still be in lockdown of some way. Still nothing is clear. But at least there is hope.

I've got my fingers in my ears when you say that Elisabeth.

I'm not expecting there to be any kind of lockdown after March/April next year.

The thought that there might be is not one I want to contemplate. sad.gif

Well, I understand that Laura and we all need to think positive. But there is for me at least also to keep it realistic so that I am not too disappointed.
Let's leave the UK and only look at the Netherlands.
We are in complete lockdown until January 19, 2021. It is unlikely that they go from total lockdown to no lockdown. I assume that they will extend until beginning February. Then depending on the cases they will slowly step back for 4 weeks into the less harsh regulations and then slowly try to go back to last summers normality end of April.
There is the vaccination. But we do know little yet and it will take time. As humans tend not to stick to voluntary restrictions I don't see the situation really change until later 2021...if we are lucky. But maybe we are lucky and hope is always important :-)....and I am in home office since March 2020.

I really cannot see any large gatherings such as concerts/festivals happening in 2021 , the World health Org are warning of worse to come if the virus mutates further & are asking Governments to prepare for same. I do not think people want to actually believe what is happening , hopefully the vaccines will work but it may be something we have to live with going forward & our lifestyles may indeed have to change which is not something I am looking forward to but may have no choice in . Hopefully we might see gigs again in 2022 but under more stringent rules . We will be so greatful when live gigs return of any kind.

So Alex - what was the final total on sales for this year?

How far off platinum is he?
