Kygo top 20
I didn't doubt it happening but it's great to see Sigala smashing all competition too! |

For those who are lazy and can't be asked to scroll through the update
Ella Eyre is at 19 with Feline Taylor Swift is at 38 with Wildest Dreams Troye Sivan is at 3 with the WILD - EP and at 62 with the title song Carly Rae Jepsen is at 67 with Run Away With Me Foxes is at 89 with Better Love Have to say, as much as I love Foxes and almost everything she's put out, this song is very weak and probably the worst of hers so far, unfortunately |

Sales gap looks big enough for Sigala to take the #1 fairly easily this week but unfortunately a 2 week #1 looks very slim from where things stand right now.
Great to see Galantis scoring another top 10 hit iTunes stability should mean they stay top 10 for the full week too Thank goodness Felix is stabilizing a little and hopefully Kygo stays top 20. Wild at #62 :') the BJSC mods certainly made the right decision to veto Mr. Sivan Loving the Carly re-entry and the Hula Hoop entry too. DJ Snake and AJ are a bit low for my liking but look how floppy Avicii is doing And that Green Day song has entered just a little too early |

Galantis should keep their #8 position which I'm happy with.
Good to see Carly poised to make its top 75 debut, hope it can keep ascending though... |

16k should be enough of a gap even if there's streaming data missing! kygo is also doing tremendously well for a oa/os release! how on earth have iron maiden sold 45.5k?! |

how on earth have iron maiden sold 45.5k?! Well they're not exactly some random unknown band, they're still popular in their genre and with their existing fanbase. I'm not that surprised, though I do sense they'll be a tad frontloaded. I didn't know Oh Wonder's album was out nor did I expect it to go that high! Must give that a listen. Sigala looking quite good to be this number 1 this week with that lead I'd say This post has been edited by Chez Wombat: Sep 7 2015, 06:10 PM |

They've sold 85 million albums and sell out stadiums all over the world, as they have done for nearly 40 years. It's hardly surprising. |

Nice to see Duran Duran's Rio back in the top 40 album chart, I would love to see total sales for that album, 99p on GooglePlay just bought it I only got that on Vinyl... bargain. The album chart is a bit nostalgic this week, 80s acts A'ha, Iron Maiden, Public Image Limited.

Incredible sales for Iron Maiden! (Assuming they're actually correct and the OCC aren't over-reporting sales like they did last week )
Good to see Sigala looking at an easy #1 but should have been released weeks ago yada yada yada. |

If Foxes is that low it's fair to say she stands no chance of making it officially.
They've really screwed her over with this strategy. I mean, I know she'll have struggled anyway after 'Body Talk' (criminally) flopped, but this is kind of like shooting an already lame horse in the leg before a race. |

My biggest concern is her future with Radio 1 They already seemed disinterested in 'Body Talk' (having only made the B-List as a pre-album single), so I'm not sure where missing the top 100 altogether will leave her. |

Decent sales for Iron Maiden there. What did their last album do in its first week?

Decent sales for Iron Maiden there. What did their last album do in its first week? 44,384. So they've already surpassed that! They're surprisingly consistent, in September 2006 A Matter of Life and Death opened with 44,134 though that was only good enough for a #4 debut back then. |

That's fantastic. The Tesco effect much be helping them out a lot. I wonder if it'll do 100k by the end of the year? |
