‘Motivation’
The project’s title track (featuring Lil Wayne) will also serves as the lead single, a video for which will be shot in Los Angeles later this week. Finally. Speaking to the media in attendance at the event, the Destiny’s Child singer said she was searching for looks for her upcoming new video. “I start shooting in L.A. in a week. I’m aiming for a very sexy, feminine video and I’m looking for womanly, sexy designs” she said. Titled ‘Motivation’, Rowland enthused that it’s “a mix of dance and (Urban) mash-up”. ——————————- Finally! It’s great to see things finally coming together for Ms. Kelly. For the longest, she has been tweeting the word ‘Motivation’ on Twitter; I guess this confirms there to have been a rhyme and reason for it. FINALLY some news! Very excited and glad to see the release date so close!
 I'll wait to hear the single before judging it, as Lil Wayne can have his moments, but I don't tend to like his solo stuff.

I guess the whole Lil' Wayne duet worked for Keri Hilson, and if "Gone" does well, then 2011 could be Kelly's year! |

This is terrible. It needs to be remixed if it stands any chance either of not bombing or not being dulll and crap. Kelly needs to realize Urban music is not her strength and she should really stick to Dance music more than anything.
Really cant say I'm all that bothered anymore about whatevers happening with this album. |

I don't hate 'Motivation', it's actually quite nice to listen to, but lead single material!? - NO WAY!! She's never going to be able to rescue her career now.

LOL. But seriously, it is growing on me, and as I said somewhere (Twitter, I think), it does sound like a summer song -- so hopefully it'll go at least top twenty here!
The promo CD with album and radio edits, plus Diplo remix and instrumental leaked recently, too.

I quite like that video actually. Kelly looks great in it (aswell as on the single cover -- which is lush
 ), and the song's really growing on me too! I actually reckon it could be a hit, if she promotes it here; here's hoping.

So I've done a complete u-turn on this...actually love it now. Understated and generally mmm. Especially the Diplo remix.
The video is perfect for it too. |
