Extremely excited for this. Gutted that 'Get Away' (which is possibly my favourite from them yet) didn't manage to make top 40! But hopefully something from this album does and gets them more exposure/success!

"Get Away" was a nice single to keep us satisfied until album 2 drops - got to agree with Josh about Lauren's vocals. She was by far one of the strongest vocally at Latitude in 2013, and hearing "Gun" on that hot summers afternoon helped it to gain a very special part in my affections at defining that summer. Hope they don't disappoint with this !

I love 'Leave A Trace'! It's got quite a dark and brooding sound compared to a lot of their previous material.

The video has been taken down They're removing every link of it ridiculously fast! The lyric video's since been uploaded to their official channel: This is predictably great. Sounds like it could fit right onto their debut, which is no bad thing considering how strong that album is. This post has been edited by Noahspike: Jul 16 2015, 11:42 PM |

Ooft, I am completely sold on first listen, having all the charm of their previous singles effortlessly Though I do agree it doesn't sound overly progressive in terms of their sound, hopefully the album will have more variance.

Predictably amazing, indeed.
Not even too bothered that it's not too much of a progression in sound. This is a sound they have perfected for themselves and as far as I'm concerned, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. |

Not liking this at all. As expected. Still utterly lacking in personality and anything that makes music worth listening to, to be frank. The dullest, most boring and predictable (fairly fresh) British band at the moment. Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding's music has more appeal to me than this vanilla-scented beigepop for basic bitches by basic bitches.

Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding's music has more appeal to me than this vanilla-scented beigepop for basic bitches by basic bitches. The lyrics alone elevate it above any of those two's recent output. I, on the other hand, am utterly in love with this though. It's the kind of understated song that you can leave on repeat for hours and it'll still sound crazy good. It perhaps could have done with a more explosive climax (/an actual middle 8) ala Tether but yeah colour me excited for the album. |
