Love this song. One of my faves from Example along with Stay Awake, Kickstarts and Midnight Run.

78. The Midnight Club - Close Your Eyes
Wholune entered this for our BJSC entry in November and it's our most successful yet, making the final! I can see why, it's very infectious and has a great hook. I actually discovered this song when it was posted on YouTube as a leak for Panic! at the Disco's King of the Clouds, and I quickly realised it wasn't, but I went on to look up the track. Funnily enough, I prefer it over King of the Clouds |

77. The 1975 - UGH!
Another entry for The 1975 now with the second single from their second album 'I Like It When You Sleep...' This song is about Matty's drug addiction, and him trying to stay off them. Based on the video, he clearly was on something filming it Though luckily he went to rehab after this and toned it down for the latest album. |

76. Muse - Pressure
I had never listened to Muse before hearing Thought Contagion on the radio early last year, and Matt's voice isntantly hooked me. I went back to listen to some of their older work, and I imagine many would disagree, but I think Simulation Theory is their best album so far. Pressure is one of the standouts for me with a fantastic chorus and riff. Next up is an entry from an Irish band... This post has been edited by Whoody4Paramore: Feb 21 2019, 02:25 PM |

Glad to see Pressure on the countdown. "DON'T PUSH ME!!!! ah-AH-AH!!!!"
And speaking of Muse, their debut album Showbiz will be turning 20 this year. My three guesses for the Irish band: U2 Kodaline Snow Patrol |

If you weren't around to hear Muse's earlier stuff when it was around I guess you don't appreciate it as much. Origin of Symmetry was a massive fan favourite and I'd still say it's one of my favourite albums of all time. Black Holes and Revelations had loads of hits on it, and Absolution, The Resistance and Drones are superb albums too, would recommend you listen to them again! |

Fair enough, I'll definitely go back and listen soon. I just remembers their song for the 2012 Olympics 'Survival' - banger! |

75. Kodaline - Follow Your Fire
I've never been too into Kodaline, I find a lot of their music quite dull, though they were alright when I saw them at a festival last year. But this track is really good! I can't remember where I first heard it, but I've been playing it a lot over the last year. It's a shame I didn't really like anything else from their latest album. |

74. INK. - Heaven
INK. are a new band featuring McFly bassist Dougie Poynter, though they are very different to their style. Their debut EP released last year was fantastic and this was my favourite track of it. I hope we get new music soon, and McFly's return this year doesn't slow INK. down much. |

'Heaven' by INK. That's quite good! I like the chorus, it has got so much power to it.

73. Imagine Dragons - Walking the Wire
A track now from ID's 2017 album Evolve - and what a fantastic song this is! Dan's vocals are so powerful on this, particularly the 'look out down below' part - I visited this loads last year, and I expect I will this year as well. Nice to see Follow Your Fire here, I'm actually quite into most of Kodaline's stuff so this was just another great song for me!

Cheers Pete & Mack! Going to carry this one now
72. Clean Bandit ft. Demi Lovato - Solo Clean Bandit have always been quite hit or miss for me, but I definitely have enjoyed their most recent music the most. Solo (and Baby) have been standouts for me - looking forward to see what they release next! |

'Solo' didn't see this becoming a UK #1 for Demi Lovato.
