An extraordinary look at how death affects oneself; this was written, recorded and released in the wake of the passing of the artist's wife, his partner for 13 years and the mother of his child, from pancreatic cancer last year.
It is honest, painful and heartbreaking. It is also unbelievably beautiful and raw. All of the tracks are stand-out tracks to be fair, but my favourite is 'My Chasm': I now wield the power to transform a grocery store aisle into a canyon of pity and confusion,
And mutual aching to leave. |

These songs cut so deep, I can not evaluate them in any common musical or lyrical terms.
