Hmm not sure how to call a winner here- The Hanging Tree seemed kinda popular last year so that has a good shot, maybe Cranberries/AURORA/Brainbug too. Halsey/Melanie/Troye will do well since they're popular names. IDK, surprise me pls buzzjack~

Well, yes I suppose, high points for Taaarhino allows them to keep their lead but she just can't shake Hushkaspookia pff as they again are only 4 point behind. Poor floppy hens Corpse Lupus yet to get two points to pass 100 although D'yermacab're who've been silently sitting in the high points thus far, are within inches of getting past three figures (though I'm no longer top horror film score :'(). Klumzee has been sandwiched between two 18s and leaps into the top 10. None of the songs in the lead are obviously dance so our next voter Danaelantern is possibly unpredictable~

V pleased to see good taste coming through for 'King Night' in the end (at least to a much greater extent than earlier) <3 Probably my favourite thing Jake has ever sent to one of these contests (maybe second to 'RUOK' if we count Unknown Pleasures). Really amazed at how well 'Blood Blood Blood' has done as well. Shame 'UTUG' and 'Serpent' don't seem to have picked up in the same way tho :'(

Mike Oldfield That's a good winner. I mean, Percemetery is probably moral winner given that top 3 is CHEAP AS but that top 4 is all very good quality-wise (and I'm slightly glad it wasn't The Hanging Tree out of all of those to win).

On the other hand My song was PERFECT for Halloween I can't even say it's anti-longsong bias because well... SEXWITCH but man, that's poor after the good start I had. And even worse for poor Within Temptation.

Oh excellent Dandy and Vülker, particularly the former! An 18, 2 15s and a few 13s as well! 7th place is wonderful, my initial prediction of 38th was a bit off Seriously though I had one of the worst receptions on dubtrack from what I could see so that was a bit deflating, though made the process far more exciting with the unexpectedness! Churning out a second surprise spinoff hit after 'To The Ocean' ;o 3rd spinoff top 10 now! thank you to all those that voted for Unison <3

My 18 actually winning!! 'Tubular Bells' is absolutely glorious so I could not be more thrilled <3 My 15 also coming top 3, as well as other favourites SEXWITCH and Salem grabbing those top 5 placings! <3 could not have asked for better results!

My 18 pointer winning! <333 Really would never have called that as the winner tbh, even if it is well-known, it's hardly something that BuzzJack would obviously flock to en masse. Only the second instrumental winner after 'Cry For Freedom' isn't it? Massive congrats to Bal, finally getting that non-Rejects win. Feeling a bit sorry for Deandria coming soooo close to a first ever win but an excellent top 2 anyway (in fact that's a really great top 7, voted for all of them (bar myself obvz) - and John Carpenter/Brainbug (accounting for Farahtyn's deduction ~) also making up a top 10 where I voted for all but one of the non-me songs, 'Carousel' wasn't far off either).

Thank you to Chez/Dandy/Vülker for the last minute (and indeed post-deadline but let's not talk about that x) points rush, breaking the seemingly impenetrable top 4 Could not have asked for this to go any better for SEXWITCH, really glad the song struck a chord with so many people. Continuing to do better with each passing spinoff, coming for a medal spot in the next one if that continues!!1 Beyond pleased to see SALEM also cracking the top 5 too (although poor Lindsey being kicked out of the top 5 after being there for basically the entire reveal oops).

Congrats to Bal, I was very happy with that winner, it is well known but it is very appropriate for this spin-off and certainly a less cheap choice than the rest of the top 3 (as much as I love them both). I did feel a bit bad for Mattias and Cameron for coming SO close, but they did pretty great anyway, I did penalise them both slightly in my votes as they were to an extent quite cheap entries (I again emphasise I didn't vote last and had no idea of the closeness until yesterday). I was overjoyed at a top 10 placing as well, thought I'd be amongst the bottom lot for sure! Glad people appreciate it as much as I do, in fact this is my only top 10 placing in any BJSC related event this year Guess it was good I hosted the one where it happened!

I am very glad people enjoyed this contest, I certainly did too (too many commiserations to mention in my list </3) and very much hope for it to return next year

Thank you very much for hosting Chez, you did a wonderful job both hosting and doing the vetoing along with Bré and Seven. From what I hear the veto panel worked well, so it may be good to make that a regular thing for spin-offs - we shall see!

Well done Bal!! not big on the Tubular Bells but then again I haven't seen The Exorcist to put it into context with. Big woop for Percemetery achieving highest 'not cheap' song with SEXWITCH! Haunting yet enchanting at the same time <3 Happy with how C&TCF did although I didn't have any expectations for myself but over 100 points is good right??

Being huge on horror I couldn't think of a more fitting spinoff to want to do well in so I am beyond happy and grateful for this win :'( On this particular song I must admit it is purely from 'The Exorcist' that I know of it and not from the full length album like a few of the voters here know it from. I grew up watching the film and it's undeniable soundtrack (the first times aged ~5/6 :/) and it's haunted me pretty much since then.

Thank you to everyone that voted for it or at least enjoyed it!

Getting 3rd to last place was kind of a good outcome really. It also serves as a punishment for me not really looking through a "proper" song in my iTunes library but hey, it's a spinoff

Never say this I love the idea of the spin-offs, they're fun, and in a way it's more of a challenge, being told to find a song that fits a particular theme, that you also like. Challenges can be good



I wonder if you would've preferred me to have sent that demonic lady after all It's a batshit crazy track, but I was afraid of getting disowned by Buzzjack, plus I don't actually really like the song, plus it would not have gotten me anywhere near second place, hahaaa!

I will try to be more inspired next time though, I was very aware throughout the whole thing that I was being a bit cheap but hey, at least people loved the song
