Hey everyone, I just got Netflix and I was wondering what tv shows are good to watch and if anyone has any recommendations?
I'm going to start with Pretty Little Liars and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt but I'm not sure after that.
Orange Is The New Black 100%.
Also Bojack Horseman if you like Family Guy/American Dad etc and Community as an easy to watch hilarious sitcom.
If you can get the US catalogue then there's Parks & Recreation and Bob's Burgers which I thoroughly recommend.
Rita is great series too.
Community. It's essential.
Gotham is pretty amaze too if you've not seen it.
What pisses me off is that they sometimes pull some just as I'm getting into them
Orange Is The New Black is very good and Community is very funny. I'm currently addicted to Arrested Development.
Breaking Bad is one I really enjoyed but it's not for the faint hearted.
Les Revenants
French show that is quite brilliant and among the best shows I've seen in years.
It takes me hours to decide what to watch on NF.
Orange Is The New Black and Les Revenants especially are great shows! Currently watching American Horror Story and hoping that somehow they get the fourth season up before I finish Coven!
Is P&R only on the US Netflix? My real life friends have been recommending it strongly.
Yes P&R is only on the US version but it's simple enough to just get a proxy to change your location.
Currently working my way through Once Upon A Time
ORPHAN BLACK. Ignore everything on this thread and listen to me
No really, it's amazing but currently there's only two seasons on the UK Netflix although the 3rd has finished airing in the US idk if it's on the American Netflix. The 3rd season should air on UK T.V at some point though, I'm guessing maybe in a couple of months. Still, watch the first two seasons and thank me later
Backing up some of the stuff said already, American Horror Story and Orange Is The New Black. I've watched Kimmy as well, loved it, it's the perfect series to binge on in a day or so, and Pretty Little Liars is up there with my favourites so I'm glad you're watching it
I've heard good things about Community as well but not got round to watching it yet
Arrested Development is light-hearted and FRANKLY HILARIOUS.
If you want something with a bit more meat on it, have a look at Peaky Blinders.
Another easy binge-watch is Sense8, it's amazing too
omfg it's now available worldwide!
signed up yassssssssssssssssssss
How To Get Away With Murder
f*** russian netflix. there's literally nothing on it ugh.
so just hola-ing the us version oops
I'd say The Flash. My friend introduced me to it and the characters are just so fun. I mean, if you can handle DC characters then you can handle The Flash.
Finished PLL so that's down to being weekly when there's a new episode now, thinking of starting Parks & Rec and maybe Orphan Black or The Fosters which seems like my thing. Starting a series often takes me so long because I worry that it's such a commitment and will take over my life
That's what happened with me and Greek, started out with one or two episodes an evening but then ended up watching like 10 episodes, stopping up until 4am every night!
Just finished Modern Family, took me 3 weeks to watch all the 6 available seasons moved onto 30 Rock now.
Netflix figures have been released with Jessica Jones being the most watched programme with an average of 4.6m viewing per episode.
I am sad I cant get Parks and Rec on the UK Netflix, they need to sort this out.
Guys (and gals), I'm trying to get a catalogue of programmes to watch when I have some free time (and to make use of my Netflix account!!). I have the following at the minute;
I was wondering if there were any recommendations or any that you think I've stupidly missed off?
Top tip - watch Attack on Titan now. Like, right now. And don't come back until you have.
And if you feel like adding any more anime to your queue, may I recommend Psycho Pass & Knights of Sidonia.
Les Revenants aka The Returned
Hemlock Grove
And obviously Danger 5...
Oliver and Liam (and everyone else on this site tbh) should watch Orphan Black, it's legitimately my favourite series ever and it's such an easy binge with 10 episodes per season, I don't think season 3 is on Netflix yet though, I imagine it will be soon as the next season is starting in April and it did air in the UK from September last year
Hotwives of Orlando >>>>
COMPLETED
Scream
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
CURRENTLY WATCHING
Bojack Horseman- Series 1, Ep 2 (watching with sister when she isn't at Uni)
Fuller House- Series 1, Ep 2
Marvel's Jessica Jones- Series 1, Ep 3
Orange Is The New Black- Series 1, Ep 11 (watching with family)
Pretty Little Liars Series 6, Ep 17 (up to date, 3 episodes left of current series!)
After I've finished Fuller and Jessica I'm going to post my list on here and ask what I should watch next
So iZombie has been added to UK Netflix, both seasons. It's absolutely fabulous.
I'm currently watching Orphan Black and it's amaze.
The addition of Gilmore Girls has made my life worth living lately.
Should I watch Sense8? Feels like a natural next step after Orphan Black
Star Trek the new TV Series is coming to Netflix, Jan 2017, its official its been given a title Star Trek: Discovery

I have just made a start on Bojack Horseman and I am LIVING for it (and for forum specific reasons I did lol at 'Sextina Aquafina').
Omg I totally forgot that Season 3 started! I need to get on that, that'll be my binge for the next day or two.
I discovered Archer through Netflix and marathoned it in a matter of days. Utterly glorious.
Lauren Graham seems to have not aged a day and Alexis looks more like a sister than a daughter.
I've also just recently started Bojack Horseman. On series 2 at the moment and I'm loving it!
I just finished The Shannara Chronicles and it was incredible. If you love Shadowhunters, this is 100 times better *.*
I'm currently watching Skins, idk how it's taken me this long to see any of it but I'm glad I've started now
There is a lot of seasons to it though so I'm wanting to find something shorter that I can just binge on the next week, so I'm open to suggestions to things that maybe only have a season or two atm
Just watch the first two series of Skins Lindsey, the rest are shite!
This is actually happening
I just watched Haters Back Off. I am shook
I've started watching Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and part way through episode one I'm relating with this far far far more than I'm comfortable with. Funny tho.
Only 3 episodes in to Haters, Back Off and it's already what I picture Jessie J's life to be like.
