6. Beastie Boys – Solid Gold Hits
Release year: 2005 UK Chart Peak: #71 Greatest Hits: Yes Due to its low chart peak in the UK, it was expected that very few would be able to correctly answer this album cover, but many in fact did! Hopefully Jade gets one right soon! 8. Jay-Z & Linkin Park – Collision Course
Release year: 2004 UK Chart Peak: #15 Greatest Hits: No Onto #7 and it is a collaborative project from two unlikely names in music at the time; Jay-Z and Linkin Park. They released Collision Course in 2004 and it contained re-recorded songs from their studio albums mashed up with those by the other artist. Numb/Encore gave them a Top 20 hit in the UK. It does not warrant being called a “Greatest Hits“ collection, and it is also the lowest correctly guessed album so far in this quiz with just 5 correct guesses. Correct Answers: 5 of 27 (18.52%) Bjork, chrissmith276, M4NGO, Rush, Sarah Wrong Answers: Badly Drawn Boy (Jade) Fiona Apple (DalekTurret32) Flobots – Fight With Tools (Riser) Radiohead – OK Computer (vibe) The Zutons (PeteFromLeeds) |

13. Black Lace – Greatest Ever Party Album
Release year: 2000 UK Chart Peak: DNC Greatest Hits: Yes The most challenging album cover in this quiz was this one here from 80’s group Black Lace. It’s was added to be close to impossible for anyone to work out due to the fact that it never even charted in the UK and that it is 20 years old. But it was not a 0% accuracy as expected, there were three people who amazingly managed to figure it out! Hats off to these participants for this ambiguous album cover! The album is also a “Greatest Hits” collection with nostalgic party hits such as Agadoo, Do The Conga and Superman. Correct Answers: 3 of 27 (11.11%) chrissmith276, ✖ leww ✖, The Hit Parade Wrong Answers: Cartoons (DalekTurret32) Fast Food Rockers – Greatest Hits (Riser) Junior Senior (n4yr) No idea but they look like the old Crazy Bones cartoons (PeteFromLeeds) This post has been edited by awardinary: 24th May 2020, 07:52 PM |
