I wouldn't be surprised if the singles certification threshold will be in millions now. laugh.gif laugh.gif The threshold for Gold and Platinum certifications should be very interesting since the formula is now "equivalent streams".

How popular is Deezer in France? Drake got 975,000 streams from Spotify last week while Sia got 626,000 (Source: http://kworb.net/spotify/country/fr_weekly.html ) Considering the numbers Drake and Sia got for chart streaming this week, I'm assuming Deezer is just as popular as Spotify in France.

It's good that Amir and Celine Dion managed to have a Top 5 placing before the integration happened, as both are not huge streaming artists.

SNEP has started to add streams into their certifications now. Source: http://www.snepmusique.com/actualites-du-s...certifications/

The singles are now certified by "equivalent streams", therefore:

Gold = 10 million equivalent streams (streaming + download sales; each download is 150 streams)
Platinum = 20 million
Diamond = 35 million

Albums are certified by "equivalent sales", so:

Gold = 50,000 equivalent sales (streaming + physical sales + download sales; for album streaming, the most listened track is divided by 2 (which I assume is what they do first?) and (then?) the album streams are divided by 1000 to have "equivalent sales")
Platinum = 100,000 sales
2x Platinum = 200,000 sales
3x Platinum = 300,000 sales
Diamond = 500,000 sales

Some interesting points:

- SNEP seems to not have 4x Platinum. I'm only pointing this out because SNEP has 4x Diamond (which is 2 million sales) certification.
- If SNEP will still use "equivalent streams" for the singles (and the stream/sale ratio remain the same), why is their singles chart still separated when the album have already integrated? They just released their monthly singles chart, which is combined in sales and streams, so why not for weekly?

So, these are the 2016 certified singles: Source: http://www.chartsinfrance.net/communaute/i...en-2016/page-34

So, after multiple delays and all that mess, SNEP FINALLY has a SINGLES chart which combines both sales and streaming. SNEP already had an integrated albums chart since last year. The singles certifications already added streaming and the threshold are in "equivalent-streams" numbers (albums are "equivalent-sales"). They also attempted monthly integrated singles chart last year a few times (which was posted on SNEP's twitter). Took them a while to finally introduce the combined weekly singles chart, with streaming, but at least there is one on the site now. Plus, the integration process for download + physical chart took much, much longer, when that formula started in 2011 (they had the download chart since 2005 or 06, streaming chart started in September 2014).

Link (new, combined singles chart: sales + streaming): http://www.snepmusique.com/tops-semaine/to...les-megafusion/

Unsurprisingly, Ed Sheeran is number 1 on the combined chart, Zayn & Taylor at #4 and Clean Bandit/Sean Paul/Anne-Marie at #10. Katy Perry is at #28. Lacrim is the highest new entry at #2.
