V2 :
YTD Sales : Please read these guidelines before you request sales estimates, it makes my task a lot easier. 1. Be specific - please name the artist and title for each entry you'd like an estimate for. 2. I log sales for all albums that have charted this year, but only update those that have sold enough to reach my 200 position tracking range 3. If an album isn't in the current Top 100, I won't be able to update its sales until Tues. Also, please don't ask about ex-T100 albums too often - once a month at most) 4. Remember to check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. Also, no more than half-a-dozen requests at a time, thanks. 5. Please note my figures are combined sales & streams, and since I have no way of separating them, I cannot provide a split. 6. While I am no longer estimating singles sales, I can provide YTD singles positions from C+, and I am still maintaining my sales archive based on published figures (PM me if you want to see it) Thank you. It doesn't seem likely we'll have a runaway #1 like we did last year with Ed.

Unless some seriously big hitters come back in force this year, I imagine we could get a <600k #1 album of the year

I am guessing The Greatest Showman has all ready overtaken the Sales of La La Land which would be quite an achievement all ready - seems the writers of both (Pasek and Paul) have another musical lined up next year as well (Aladdin).
In terms of bigger sellers over the year I am hoping the Arctic Monkeys can come back with a classic! |

Unless some seriously big hitters come back in force this year, I imagine we could get a <600k #1 album of the year I reckon the Top 5~ will all be very close in sales too. I think the Mamma Mia 2 Soundtrack could go #1 so long as there isn't any huge releases around the time (ie. Divide) and possibly fight for EOY Top 10 depending on it's streaming |

I wonder how many 'Golden' albums Kylie will sell in week one? With about 6 different formats to buy she could move into top 40 after week 1 in first week of April?

The Man - Feel It Still 22 - Selena Gomez and Marshmello - Wolves 23 - James Arthur - Naked 24 - Zac Efron and Zendaya - Rewrite The Stars 25 - Hugh Jackman, etc. - The Greatest Show 26 - Post Malone - Rockstar 27 - Sigrid - Strangers 28 - Rak-Su - Dimelo 29 - Liam Payne ft Fita Ora - For You 30 - Dua Lipa - New Rules 31 - J Hus - Bouff Daddy 32 - G-Eazy - Him & I 33 - Marshmello - Silence 34 - Steel Banglez - Bad 35 - Stormzy - Blinded By Your Grace, Pt. 2 36 - Justin Timberlake - Filthy 37 - Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You 38 - Clean Bandit ft Zara Larrson - Symphony 39 - Mabel - Finders Keepers 40 - Kendrick Lamar - All The Stars The dramatic position differences to the official list show how big an effect ACR really has!
