Maroon 5 'Maps' Chart Run: 50 Maroon 5 have had some big hits in the chart before, them being Moves Like Jagger and Payphone which peaked at #2 and #3 respectively. This doesn't do quite as well though as they return to their usual average tunes. At least this isn't annoyingly catchy like One More Night. |

R. Kelly 'Bump & Grind (Waze & Odyssey Mix)' Chart Run: 49 R. Kelly makes a return to the chart, having previously charted at #13 with 'Do What U Want'. This time it's with an updated version of his 90s hit Bump & Grind. I say updated, but really it's been changed from 90s RnB to 90s house. It's still a great tune though and reminds us a lot of the million selling Push The Feeling On. |

A. G. Cook & Sophie pts. QT 'Hey QT' Chart Run: 48 It's another new entry. They just keep on coming. Anyway this is a fabulous collaboration between two of the hottest underground electronic music producers with the vocals of the mysterious QT. You can also buy the drink QT at your local convenience store for just §0.79. Expect this to climb a lot in the future weeks. It'll have to do a lot to beat the personal bests of both producers though, Nothing More To Say by Sophie went to #9 and Beautiful by A. G. Cook went to #3. |

3LAU feat. Bright Lights 'How You Love Me' Chart Run: 47-43-22-20-27-47 - 46 32 06 BH feat. Aloma Steele 'Hold On' Chart Run: 36-2-3-12-32-46 Both of these songs continue their decent down the chart, probably due to the fact that they're both generic dance and don't have enough to keep us going for ages. Still good songs though but this should be the last week for both of them. |

youve put both of those as 46 in their chart runs! ^
I always find that BJSC songs don't tend to stay on my chart long as I don't listen to them often afterwards. Love Too Deep is my longest with 10 weeks but after that it's like 6 weeks. Hey QT is quite good fun and nice on the ears but it's not as good as I was expecting from the hype, catchy though. Maps is quite good, catchy but that voice is just ugh. George Ezra 'Blame It On Me' Chart Run: 45 New at #45 it's the 2nd chart hit for George Ezra. Ezra previously went to #20 with Budapest which was a massive UK hit and got a gold certificate in Danaelanda. Anyway he has proven that he can make good songs and with a voice like that it's no surprise he's blown up. We should be expecting another blame related song in next week's chart as Calvin Harris has finally released his new song Blame. |

Nico & Vinz 'Am I Wrong?' Chart Run: 24-x-35-31-33-44-41-22-38-x-41-43-38-38-44 - 43 25 02 Beyoncé feat. Nicki Minaj 'Flawless' Chart Run: 25-43 Nico & Vinz keep on selling with Am I Wrong and land a quarter of a year in the chart despite never actually going top 20 which is a big achievement. The song is helped by being a great example of how to do pop with no gimmicks. At #43 after a week in the chart it's the queen of rap slaying with queen B with their not-quite flawless song but it is pretty great. Nicki makes for a great feature too, she'll be featuring higher up in the chart with Assaconda. |

Ariana Grande feat. Zedd 'Break Free' Chart Run: 42 Ariana has had quite the turnaround this year. Initially being dismissed as just another boring pop/RnB singer she then went out and released the smash hit Problem. Now she's followed it up with Break Free which features German dance producer Zedd. Zedd has had trouble recently in scoring big hits so this could potentially go the same way. Or it could bring him back to the top 40. Time will tell. |

David Guetta feat. Sam Martin 'Lovers On The Sun' Chart Run: 29-8-26-35-x-44-46-44-41 - 40 21 05 PAWWS 'Outside' Chart Run: 33-33-24-21-40 - 39 15 09 Jessie Ware 'Tough Love' Chart Run: 48-14-28-38-7-7-7-15-39 - 38 37 08 Sia 'Chandelier' Chart Run: 9-18-x-50-38-40-27-37-38 Lovers on the Sun stabilises a bit, it's his best but it's a nice enough tune. PAWWS and Jessie Ware drop quite a lot as I'm getting a bit tired of these songs and the great Chandelier by Sia drops a single place. It's got some healthy sales despite only two weeks in the top 20 |

Blame It On Me is really gorgeous, the tone of his voice works really well and I think it's much better than the dull Budapest, I hope it can reach top 10 officially once airplay gets better.
Break Free is also nice but it's not amazing, a bit generic but still lots of fun. The bridge is amazing when she sings the 'Ohhhh babay' into the final chorus Chandelier feels like it could be a bit of a modern classic, glad it's so loved, definitely a great track. Excited to see what her next single is. |

Mike Mago feat. Dragonette 'Outlines' Chart Run: 36 Mike Mago deep houses his way into the top 40 and surely to climb next week. Really loving the song's vibe especially the drop which proves that whilst following a formula that he's made up a cool sound to go along with it. Dragonette's vocal is good too and it's nice to her her on a dance song again after the amazing Hello. Really happy lyrics and an all-round great house hit |

Outlines is very good, the drop is so funky and reminds me of Sleepless' drop, great stuff.
Bullit is also lovely, wondering how it could do officially now, hopefully it'll do a Ten Walls |

Kastle feat. Domonique 'One In A Million' Chart Run: 35 More deep house! Yay. This one is even deeper, and it comes from underground producer Kastle who we discovered after he remixed Drake's Hold On, We're Going Home. He's now back with his own song which is quite old now but despite that finally makes the chart after a re-discovery. It's one worth listening to if you like deep vibes and low female vocals |

Mr. Probz 'Waves (Robin Schulz Remix)' x3 Chart Run: 23-4-10-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-4-6-7-13-9-9-9-10-7-7-10-11-20-29-28-24-42-40-33 Yes this is still a massive tune Now that Gecko has left this takes its place as the longest runner. Robin Schulz could even be #1 tonight with Prayer In C. Will it or not though? - 32 16 04 Paperwhite 'Take Me Back' Chart Run: 35-22-16-32 A nice enough indiepop tune but it's fallen a bit this week as, y'know, I can't love songs forever, and this is only above average. - 31 28 09 Bakermat 'Vandaag' Chart Run: 34-27-x-50-x-39-12-10-13-28-31 I have a dream… one day… I'll finally finish this countdown. So let's skip the commentary for this one. |

FKA twigs 'Two Weeks' Chart Run: 38-42-x-30-16-18-30-30 This really should've peaked a bit higher than #16. It's got vocal and production brilliance and it's very unique, looking forward to hearing more from her (any particular album highlights I should be checking out?) - 29 23 02 Banks 'Beggin' For Thread' Chart Run: 23-29 The follow-up to top 5 hit 'Drowning' which is still to come spends its 2nd week in the chart at the position of #29. Yeah it's not as good but she does have a good voice on her. I am loving the recent influx of female singers on interesting non-mainstream production actually. - 28 31 05 Ben Hammersley feat. Emma Watson & Olafur Arnalds 'Pantomime' Chart Run: 16-30-40-31-28 We don't usually get stripped back ballads in the chart but when it's done this well and beautifully then it's definitely welcome. The backing vocals by Watson really fit in too. |

I regret not charting Two Weeks higher in my chart too, such a good track. Regarding album highlights, apart from the whole album i'd say Give Up, Pendulum, Lights On, Kicks personally.

Oliver Heldens 'Koala' Chart Run: 42-23-23-27-15-5-4-11-27 Already falling down the chart, and fast too. It really isn't a good week for Oliver Heldens, as he also loses Gecko from the chart. It may climb in the future though. Koala remains a tune and good follow up to Gecko. It's not a complete rip-off of Gecko which I like, although it's not that different from it either. - 26 20 12 Kiesza 'Giant In My Heart' Chart Run: 1-1-1-2-5-8-15-13-8-8-20-26 Poor Kiesza just misses out on the top half of the chart with the amazing 90s lyrically sad house anthem Giant In My Heart. Check the thread tomorrow for the top half of the thread. BJSC and X Factor are about to start, priorities! |
