Taboo is a confirmed G:Son written song so I am prepared for something good from Christabelle!

The 16 entries are now available to listen to!

I've checked half of them out so far and most of those would be an improvement on last year. "Taboo" is decent but I think my favourite from those I've heard is "Back to Life" and I also like "Dai Laga" and "Turn It Up". Was hoping "Song for Dad" would be a bit more anthemic but it does sound very Malta

Voting format
The winner will be decided by 50% jury and 50% televoting.

The favourites to win
Brooke, Christabelle and Deborah C are the usual fan favourites of MESC, however Malta cannot usually be easily predicted unless Ira Losco is in the mix.

Christabelle definitely joining as a last minute contender, but Brooke had the pre-show momentum (and good staging too) and Richard & Joe stands out amongst the female pop. My instinct is saying it's going to be Richard & Joe, but I think Christabelle deserves it after that unexpectedly amazing performance.

I’m glad I only have to deal with this awful channel once this year. Why the pop up ads?

What a thoroughly decent (even if not my first) choice, it was this and "Back to Life" that I was going back to the most.
