Looks like the number of guests viewing is rapidly rising again now but it doesn't seem to be causing the site to crawl to a halt again so I guess the temporary forced login is working.

I had problems loading as well it took at least 5 to 8 minutes to load up.
Actually this also happened a week ago as well, it was also a Friday, and there was a huge amount of guests online the date was 22/11/19, around the time the sales topic went up 6:15pm. I actually reported it last night, as it was acting strange, and gave JosephStyles and Suedehead a nod. |

Do we have a permanent solution for this now then? Guest numbers have still been constantly over 1,000 but the site is working fine now.

Phil managed to clear some 'stuff' (my technical term) that was clogging the site and has managed to isolate some of the traffic - but the former worked in terms of sorting the slowness of the site.
He's still looking at it though to try and understand the guest numbers. |

All of sudden pages just won't load, usually when you've tried to post something. It lasts for about 5 minutes or so.

Pages taking ages to load or simply not loading at all. I find in my case it is when browsing, but I’ve noticed it at times when I’m about to post, so I deliberately wait to avoid duplicating my posts.
