Hi all,

As some of you may have seen, we're closing the Take That forum here. Primarily, they aren't getting enough discussion on their own, and it's to make way for an exciting new artist forum that'll be coming soon.

Take That are in a unique position however, and we've given them a choice. Their two options:

1. We could merge the Take That forum with the Robbie Williams forum. Ultimately, band members gone solo don't tend to get a separate AF so it's been a novelty that Take That and Robbie have been separate for so long. Whilst I'm aware there was resistance to this before, it would allow everyone to continue discussing both Take That *and* Robbie in much the same way, with all threads tidied away within the newly renamed "Take That & Robbie Williams" forum.

2. We move threads to the Pop forum much like any other forum when it's closed. A general Take That discussion topic would be allowed I'm sure but the way Take That are discussed would be much more limited unfortunately. However, with the low level of posts in there, this would probably be fine.

We've given the members a choice between the two, and within the next couple of days, we're hoping to achieve a consensus from the people who use the Take That forum. However, if option 1 is taken, we of course had to give you guys notice. Be aware that this is an option and it's looking likely based on the responses so far!

Thanks all.

Sorry to hear that.

Surely we can move over and make room. smile.gif

Just keep the threads separate though I think. They are two separate entities other than once a decade when they converge.

Oh of course, Take That and Robbie threads can remain totally separate, it's completely up to you guys! All you'd be doing is sharing the same home. Glad to hear that you're willing, Laura! happy.gif

Methinks both TT and Robbie can peacefully co-exist under the same forum roof.....

I have no objection other than saying it should be called Robbie Williams & Take That thread , not the other way around , I say that from a 'googling' point of view

It's like me moving into someone else's house on a street , the number on the door does not change

Also as Laura said , seperate threads etc please , after that no issues wink.gif

Thanks so much for the comments guys, it's brilliant to know you guys are in full support. "Robbie Williams & Take That" is perfect as a title for the forum too biggrin.gif

Due to the support, I'm gonna crack ahead with this ASAP as opposed to leaving it until tomorrow. Cheers guys, really appreciate the feedback!
