Oooh! That’s interesting I didn’t quite think of the only 3 judges aspect and how that might affect scoring.
I think the maximum score I can see there being on week one would be 24 providing someone gets 3 8’s. |

Caroline is such a ray of sunshine bless her!! Exactly the kind of person we need on TV for a light relief of a fun TV show like this.

HRVY and Maisie are obviously the two faves but PLEASE can we have Caroline win the whole thing?

That was such a good first week!! Maisie, Caroline, Nicola, Ranvir and HRVY (though I think the 9 was pushing it) all started strong, then there's a lot of potential with Clara and Max I feel. Ranvir I was really really surprised by, I thought she'd be a sort of a meh score and first one out for not standing out type but she was great especially given she had a Paso week 1!
Maisie and Clara are my other faves but like I said though I'm fully rooting for Caroline as she is such a joy to watch <3 |

That was a really good show for week one and I think the three judges element actually worked too.
I was shocked at Jamie as I really thought he could be a front runner but I know week one scores hardly mean a thing. I also loved Caroline shes gonna be SO popular with viewers I think! Because of the strong ability and how close the leaderboard is I think this could be another unpredictable series for the exit order! So happy it’s back though the Xmas Countdown begins! |

Jacqui just brought me another £250. QUEEN.
But seriously, wtf was that samba? Those arms She put in ZERO effort and she looked like a drunk aunt being dragged around a dancefloor at a wedding. |

Honestly wouldn’t surprise me if Jacqui escapes the dance off just because of Antons fanbase.
But I can only really see Jamie and Jason being in the dance off alongside Jacqui if she does happen to fall into it. I think everyone else is pretty much safe although you never know! Jason closed the show so he could be fresh in peoples minds when it comes to a vote but I don’t think him or Luba will get much support for some reason and with Jamie I’m not too sure he appeals to a Strictly audience. I’ll be searching for a spoiler come like 11pm though |

Also WHAT Jacqui’s dance was meant to be a samba. I wouldn’t have ever thought that I was trying to work out what it was she was doing and I had absolutely no clue

Surely there's NO way Jacqui won't be first out?! She'd never hold up against anybody in a dance-off!
Also, Craig's comment about her looking like she'd severed her achilles tendon made me howl This post has been edited by Jαsє: Oct 31 2020, 10:16 PM |

A good thing about dance offs this year is that there’s no split decision! Just realised that there.

Nicola and Katya were my faves this week tbh! Katya's choreo is just fab, she always brings out the best in her partners even if they aren't the best but Nicola seems like she be really really great and just continue to grow. I like that the couple isn't about them both being women or the "novelty" of a same-sex couple, they're just great either way and really fit together, I'm excited to see more of them.
Maisie was great also but I always find Tangos pretty boring. |

Nicola and Katya are an example of how a same sex routine should be done! They don’t make a huge deal about it the way H did on Dancing On Ice which I think is pretty good tbh like it shouldn’t be seen as a big deal and the routines they’ve done especially tonight’s spoke for themselves. I agree that Katya is genius at choreography! She really does work well with people and she brings out the best in them like even when she had Ed Balls she really managed to make him look decent.
I liked that routine a lot. I think there’s some strong ability tbh and I’ve realised I don’t actually miss Bruno either a three judge panel actually works Bill Bailey is my biggest surprise! What a mover he turned out to be after i initially wrote him off thinking yeah Otis not gonna get someone good again this year after winning last year. He’s also kinda what the show is about (alongside people like Nicola too) ones who don’t really come from a dance background and are just fully embracing the whole thing. |

Haven't read the spoilers but assume Jacqui's a goner. She looks so different to when she was Home Secretary from 2007 to 2010. I wouldn't have recognised her.
