What a legend! Speaking the truth and actually representing what the country thinks in Parliament.

My all-time favourite Dennis Skinner moment is...

Many of us have been calling him Dodgy Dave for a long time.

The trouble is that just left Dodgy Dave sitting there looking smug, knowing that he wasn't even going to have to pretend to answer the question. Besides, who owns that rather large property in Oxfordshire? DD claims only to own one property, the one in Notting Hill. You know the one, the property that generates three times as much income in rent than most people earn in a year from doing their job.

I agree but all the news headlines yesterday evening had the Skinner rant which although it meant DC controlled the debate in the Commons the feeling amongst the public will be of a PM/Tory party that have unveiled once again their true colours and their stance of supporting their own the people of money and influence. The PMs authority will have been almost certainly reduced leading to a quicker exit (and possibly effect Boris'application to become PM as he comes from that background).

From what I have seen, they haven't reported why Skinner called him "Dodgy Dave".
