#SlayberryTop50!!! Chart Show! With Cody Christian! Week Ending: April 19, 2015 Last Week's chart It was a pretty big day last week and we all know that it was the first EVER chart show. Here's what happened: 1.) (1.) (8) Fifth Harmony & Kid Ink - Worth It *2 weeks @ #1* 2.) (3.) (7) Zedd & Selena Gomez - I Want You To Know *2 weeks @ #1* 3.) (6.) (6) Deorro & Chris Brown - Five More Hours Fifth Harmony took the top spot last week, but can they make it a hat trick this week, or will someone new take the #1 spot? Also, some firsts and some interesting debuts today. |

50 43 05 Oliver Heldens - "Melody" Non-album single Chart Run: 49-47-44-43-50... (05 weeks) Kicking things off in the Encore Edition we have Oliver Heldens with "Melody". He may have failed to match the peak of previous charter "Koala", but it sure left an impact in the chart, being the DJ's 3rd hit. Chart Contender #1:
Dr. Kucho! & Gregor Salto f/Ane Brun - "Can't Stop Playing (Makes Me High)" (Oliver Heldens Remix) Non-album single Speaking of Oliver Heldens, here's the rework of Dr. Kucho! and Gregor Salto's dance smash, "Can't Stop Playing (Makes Me High)" with vocalist Ane Brun. It just got released in the UK and it's sure to make waves. The question is: can it become as big as "Gecko (Overdrive)". |

49 01 Skrillex & Diplo f/Justin Bieber - "Where Are Ü Now" 2nd single, Skrillex & Diplo Present: Jack Ü Chart Run: 49... (01 weeks) The first debut of the night goes to the team up of Skrillex and Diplo, known to most EDM junkies as Jack Ü. This is a sick beat, despite it sounding more Diplo than Skrillex, but then again, that's most of the album. Also props to them for making Justin Bieber relevant again. 48 50 02 OMI - "Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix)" Non-album single Chart Run: 50-48... (01 weeks) "Cheerleader" debuted last week with some high hopes, and it was released this week in the UK with...possibly no chance of getting #1. It's a close race tho. The good thing is that it's beginning to do stuff in the US, starting with Radio Disney - it was featured as the station's Music Mailbag song. |

47 48 02 Ed Sheeran & Rudimental - "Bloodstream" 4th single, X Chart Run: 48-47... (02 weeks) Yikes at this only moving up one spot. You can tell that Ed overload is beginning to take its toll on the chart, but maybe it's because we don't know if this is gonna be the next single in the US. It probably will, but not as the Rudimental mix. Anyway, in my opinion this rework is absolutely beautiful, despite it being darker than most Rudimental stuff. |

46 45 04 Fall Out Boy - "Uma Thurman" 2nd single, American Beauty/American Psycho Chart Run: 49-46-45-46... (04 weeks) A special treat with this next one, we're gonna play the remix of this song featuring Wiz Khalifa! The boys of Fall Out Boy have done well for themselves lately, and hopefully this song picks up in US pop radio. This post has been edited by Cody Slayberry: 17th April 2015, 11:25 PM |

45 49 02 Rihanna - "Bitch Better Have My Money" 2nd single, TBA Chart Run: 49-45... (02 weeks) I LOVE listening to Urban Rihanna because I feel that it's the style that I would grind and twerk to. Not that genre matters. Anyway, this has lasted pretty well as a buzz/follow-up to "FourFiveSeconds". This post has been edited by Cody Slayberry: 17th April 2015, 11:25 PM |

44 35 15 AronChupa - "I'm An Albatraoz" Non-album single Chart Run: 23-16-15-12-10-7-5-5-10-13-17-21-27-35-44... (15 weeks) One of the first songs to debut this year, and now one of the last remaining from the first two weeks, let alone the biggest debut week. This song was a massive earworm when I first heard this new New Year's Eve, and now it's already peaked in this chart. However, it's about to impact in the UK, so we'll see where this goes. |

43 01 Tinashe - "All Hands On Deck" 3rd single, Aquarius Chart Run: 43... (01 weeks) The second debut comes from the latest R&B sensation, Tinashe. With a hot ratchet anthem like this, it will certainly pull some eyes forward. Now she just needs to go forward and promote this now. Also, shout-out to Cameron because I know he really likes this song, probably without Iggy! |

42 01 Wiz Khalifa f/Charlie Puth - "See You Again" Soundtrack single, Furious 7 Chart Run: 42... (01 weeks) The third debut comes from someone who's no stranger to cruising through the charts: Wiz Khalifa. This time, he brings forth a very emotional soundtrack single with YouTube singer (and Meghan Trainor fan) Charlie Puth, with "See You Again". This is the pair's first song to debut, and their first Billboard chart topper!!! |

41 01 Kendall K - "Wear Em Out" Non-album single Chart Run: 41... (01 weeks) This is the highest debut of the week, and this was mainly due to Dance Moms hype, a low-quality version of the actual video and of course the fact that a 12-year-old girl has made something as campy as this. And I am absolutely IMPRESSED by how it's wormed into my head. |

40 46 03 Martin Garrix f/Usher - "Don't Look Down" 2nd single, +x Chart Run: 47-46-40... (03 weeks) I'd like to say that Martin Garrix is getting more situated with his new sound, and it's pretty banging. So much that it can make Usher redeem himself from the annoying monstrosity that is "I Don't Mind" Usher's vocals blend nicely with this, and Martin's production is spot-on (then again, when isn't it?). Now that this is getting some radio support, Martin should be well on his way to a second US hit |

39 38 Iggy Azalea f/Jennifer Hudson - "Trouble" 7th single, The New Classic/Reclassified Chart Run: 50-45-39-39-38-39... (05 weeks) Okay, gotta say this: the single cover actually looks pretty cool. The "Trouble" video is what the "Change Your Life" video should have probably been (despite it being fab as f*ck). J-Hudd's lipstick color is EVERYTHING. J-Hudd is EVERYTHING. |

38 41 03 Jess Glynne - "Hold My Hand" 2nd single, TBA Chart Run: 44-41-38... (03 weeks) "Hold My Hand" marks Jess Glynne's 3rd top 40 in the entire history of the chart, let alone her first one as a solo. This UK #1 is just shy of top 40 this week, and you'll get to see what blocked it later on. Anyway, this is an amazing breakthrough for Jess, getting the "Rather Be" singer her first #1 as a solo artist, and possibly aiming to smash in the US (and possibly stripping her of her one-hit wonder status there). 37 37 04 Clean Bandit - "Stronger" 8th Single, New Eyes Chart Run: 40-38-37-37... (04 weeks) Up next is the group who gave Jess Glynne the ticket to her fame: Clean Bandit. With a re-recording that features Sean Bass (related to previous vocalist Sharna Bass) and Glee star Alex Newell, the song is just a euphoric sense of good vibes and string instruments, pretty much what made them famous in the first place. |

36 40 02 Hilary Duff - "Sparks" 3rd Single, TBA Chart Run: 40-36... (02 weeks) You can recently see Hilary Duff on the new TV Land series Younger, in which she plays a young editor working with the main character, and is mainly known for being the epitome of youth. This song takes us back to the youthful side of all of us. It's very much like Dignity. |
