How do you see Huddersfield & Brighton doing this season? I think they could struggle quite a bit this season.

They'll both get relegated I think but it will nice to see them in the Premier League and I'm sure they will cause a few surprises.

I think they'll both start off strong, but fade fast in 2018......

Huddersfield to stay up. Mark my words tongue.gif

Brighton I think will struggle, I think they'll be the sole promoted team to drop straight back down.

Think they will both struggle massively, but it depends who they sign. Huddersfield signings have been average so far. Think they key to both teams will be home form - if they can do what Burnley have done at Turf Moor then they have a brilliant chance of staying up.

I do assume that 'Castle will stay up.

Which of the 17 PL teams that survived last season do you reckon will fail this time? I think Hull and Swansea could be vulnerable

Hull are already gone tongue.gif

Think a lot just depends on who people sign. There's rumours Benitez might resign at Newcastle, I think if he goes they could be trouble. If they keep him though I suspect they will be fine. Crystal Palace my tip to struggle as not convinced about their manager. I think Swansea will be fine. Tipped West Brom to go down last year.. reckon they could struggle as well as their form in 2017 is pretty dire. Think losing Fletcher will be a big blow.

Ages to go yet. It's like looking at the top teams, while people are signing players, I'd argue Liverpool are probably the only team to have properly strengthened so far. Looks like all teams are struggling to get signings over the line.

If Bentiez goes, yes I agree they'll be in trouble.

West Brom, Crystal Palace will struggle. How long will the patience with Pulis last at West Brom if the poor form continues.

I think Watford could potentially be in trouble, also Bournemouth if they don't get off to a good start.

Wayne Rooney's first goal back at Everton was a really good one! It came in a pre-season friendly against Tanzanian side Gor Mahia. I think he will do really well for Everton this season but hopefully he wont score on his return to Old Trafford in September laugh.gif

The fuss people are making about that goal is awful. It's a pre-season friendly against a team of minnows! He will score goals, but he is no longer a top player. Everton's problem this year will be a complete lack of pace until Bolasie returns.

Wow. He can score against a team no one has heard about from a country that the absolute majority of the country couldn't place on a map.

His problem wasn't that he couldn't score the occasional goal from outside the box against a team with a shite defensive line that allows him to make a couple of touches before he shoots without pressing him, it was that he was lazy, poorly conditioned, has a woeful first touch and slowed the entire team down whenever the ball came near him

Ah, Bolasie. Another overrated player that's all style and very little substance...

Probably struggle and end up relegated, but I do hope it isn't a foregone conclusion with a yawning gap between them and the other teams.

I think we will do a 2008 Hull..... win 6 of our first 3 or so, finish top 5 at Christmas, come 2018 Chris Hughton gives the players a half time bollocking on the pitch, then it's blamed for winning only 3 games in 2018 and we survive on the final day.

That could happen possibly. I can see Huddersfield hovering around the bottom 3, getting rid of their manager in January for no reason and then getting relegated.

Like Burnley and Cardiff before them.

Yes like Cardiff and when Burnley had their first stint in the Premier League. It's a big ask to say Huddersfield will finish above the bottom three. But I hope they make a good go of it.

Is a nice ground to go to, would be good to see all three promoted teams stay up also. Last time that happened was 2012.

Phil Jones banned for 2 European matches for abusive language towards a doping control officer at Europa League Final.

Both he and Blind fined €5k for violation of doping control procedures but are not being accused of doping
