A good song but definitely of its time. Nowhere near the highlight of Bey's discography but one of her strongest features for sure.

Telephone is one of Gaga's best for me and easily one of Bey's best features.

04. Drunk In Love

Average - 8.56
Lovers (11 - Josh, Theo /// )
Haters (-1 UltraReputation))

In at number four we have Drunk In Love, one of the lead singles from the self titled album. I can vividly remember the release of Drunk In Love as everyone at uni at the time was obsessed and used to be screamed when drunk all over campus laugh.gif it has definitely got a mix of haters and lovers on here with Josh and Theo leading the pack. I can see why Ultra has given it a -1 as Jay Z doesn't really add anything to the track for me, really. I feel this is going to become one of her most known tracks because of the "Beyoncé effect" and how it was released.

Should've won x

Two 'I Am... Sasha Fierce' songs in the top three! ohmy.gif Still would prefer "Crazy" to win of the three.

03. Halo
Average - 8.61
Lovers - 11 (Chapman)
Haters - 3 (Vibe)

Coming in in third place is Beyonce's fourth single from "I Am...Sasha Fierce" which reached loads of critical praise from critics for its production and Beyonce's vocals. Elsehere it picked up the award for "Best Song" at the 2009 entertainment award as well as being nominated for a Grammy. The song peaked at 4 in the UK, 5 in the US, 3 in Australia. Halo could be considered since to be one of her signature hits.

Definitely one of if not her definitive signature song. Both times I saw her live (2014 and 2016), it was the encore/final song and it's just a huge tune that seemingly caters to everyone - whether it's in a stadium or on MOR radio. I didn't realise it was so loved by Buzzjack but it's a very inoffensive (not a bad thing!), yet heartfelt song.

That top two! wub.gif

02. Sweet Dreams

Average - 8.81
Lovers (10 - SamJudd, George.keh, Josh, Paj88, Davidson, Harry, Liam, Joe, Theo, Sean, Jay, Mack)
Haters (6 - vibe // 6.5 Jonjo)

Personally, I'd say this is my second favourite Bey song behind only Drunk In Love and it does make me sad that it seems rather forgotten by the general public nowadays. This was around the time Beyonce was really solidifying herself as the best in the business with smash after smash during her Sasha Fierce era and it's not hard to see why when the album was jam packed with bop after bop. I always loved the video to this too although it obviously has nothing on Single Ladies in that regard.

01. Crazy in Love

Average - 9.06
Lovers (11 - SamJudd, Harry, Lew, Jay, Liamk97, Mack)
Haters (0 - Nick F1)

There really could be no other winner, it's the song that made her a super star and remains her most iconic single to date. Try stepping into any nightclub on a weekend and it'll be impossible not to hear Crazy in Love come on and the crowd go wild. It is the ultimate party banger and everyone knows the word so it always is one of the best songs of the night. Personally, it wouldn't even be near my personal Bey top 10 but I can't deny that it's a bop and it does feel like the right choice to have as #1.

Yas *.* Incredible top two but the right song came out on top! An absolute classic song and one of my all time faves. Crazy that "Sweet Dreams" didn't receive a single 11 though ohmy.gif

Thanks so much to the three of you for compiling this! biggrin.gif A great read happy.gif
