BuzzJack Music Forum _ UK Charts _ YTD UK Albums : Sales estimates - week 47

Posted by: Mart!n Nov 21 2020, 09:29 AM

V1 :

YTD Sales : Please read these guidelines before you request sales estimates, it makes my task a lot easier.

1. Be specific - please name the artist and title for each entry you'd like an estimate for.

2. I log sales for all albums that have charted this year, but only update those that have sold enough to reach my 200 position tracking range

3. If an album isn't in the current Top 100, I won't be able to update its sales until Tues. Also, please don't ask about ex-T100 albums too often - once a month at most)

4. Remember to check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. Also, no more than half-a-dozen requests at a time, thanks.

5. Please note my figures are combined sales & streams, and since I have no way of separating them, I cannot provide a split.

6. While I am no longer estimating singles sales, I can provide YTD singles positions from C+, and I am still maintaining my sales archive based on published figures (PM me if you want to see it)

7. Total sales are post-1994 only, so sales of albums relased before then will be understated.

Thank you.

Could we just have a total for whoever is number 40?

Just wondering how far Kylie would be from year end top 40.

I know lots more new releases to come

Based on the top 40 from last week, the number 40 album is probably now on around 85,500 so Kylie is still some way off yet. Once I get my copy of UKChartsPlus on Wednesday I can post where she is in YTD album chart. Last week she was at number 97 and will have made a decent climb this week.

hopefully Little Mix & Kylie can both be Too 40 before the year is out!

Would love LM to snag the best group BRITs nomination again.

I reckon she could be anywhere between Nos 65 - 80, its so difficult to judge as there will be other albums rounded up on the same figures.

both Little Mix and Kylie were certified silver by the BPI yesterday, also AC/DC

Reckon Dua will end up ahead of Harry with the new remix album next week. ‘Golden’ will still transfer into decent album sales so will be close!

I've just received my copy of UKChartsPlus. 'Disco' is at number 59.

To SmileyKylie: number 40 ('Goodbye & Good Riddance' by Juice WRLD) is on 85.6k, 'Disco' in on 70.1k.

That was a good guess in the end I wasn't that far off. Might just nudge the top 40 next week.

Kylie should easily get into the top 40 then by the end of next month
