BuzzJack Music Forum _ Pop _ Neon Jungle feat. Snob Scrilla - Can't Stop The Love

Posted by: Dane 1st October 2014, 03:31 PM

The girls have just confirmed that Can't Stop The Love will be their next single. Also there is a chance for fans to appear in the music video.

For me personally I think the song is definitely a grower. Pleasant, but not sure it will do much chart wise. Hopefully it can at least go top 40.

It's SO frustrating being a fan of girl groups because they just mess it up over and over again. Such an awful decision and a waste of time.

EDIT: I just listened to the song again, I honestly can't believe they're wasting time with a fifth single. I can't see the single selling anymore albums either. I predict a cheap and cheesey video too.

There is nothing left on this album that has hit potential, they really just need to forget about it and start again early next year on a completely new album.

That'd be less damaging for them than trying to rescue the album with the lacklustre material left and resulting in a massive flop single.

you both ^^ are crazy tbh, this is AMAZING song, very catchy, cutish and melodish, with some promo should be a hit!

Posted by: Little_Boyo 1st October 2014, 06:42 PM

Oh well this is going to flop completely isnt it?!

Posted by: Sean. 1st October 2014, 07:18 PM

It's just wasting money - assuming they do what they've done with previous singles and not promo it very good as well....

Which one is Bad Man? Is that the overly cringe worthy song that has walk like a bad man in the lyrics? rolleyes.gif

Bad Man is not cringe-worthy! ohmy.gif sob.gif Best track on the album. x

I actually quite like 'Can't Stop The Love', although I do agree that they're probably better off moving onto a second album, if they can.

'Future X Girl' is the only vaguely decent non-single on the album for me, and it's a bonus track. sad.gif

I love your opinions because they are so on point! I love Future X Girl, it kinda' mirrors Trouble for me in terms of energy and sound!

I was being sarcastic as to express my dislike of the song wink.gif

I've listened to this a couple of times now & I'm starting to really like it! It's a grower, hopefully they've got some promo lined up! Fingers crossed they get radio support, I could see capital supporting this a little.

Posted by: Sean. 3rd October 2014, 08:44 AM

Wouldn't be surprised if they get snubbed by Radio One after Louder failed a tad as well as Welcome To The Jungle having poor sales; I'm not holding out for promo because all they did was sit on Lorraine for about five minutes about formation of the group etc.

Apparently the video has already hit music channels?!

Posted by: tommie 2nd November 2014, 10:31 AM

I assume this'll do a "My Man Music" and then they'll be quietly dropped in the new year.

This is amazing song, very Holiday feeling, hope that it will do well!

I can see R1 snubbing it but Capital will probably get on board so it could be a moderate success but I'm not expecting anything amazing like Braveheart rolleyes.gif

The video is nice enough & puts across the message of this song nicely. Hopefully this can possibly go top 40, but unless they have any promo or radio tours lined up I can see this doing a Union J - Loving You Is Easy, which is a shame cause it's such a brilliant song. It's really grown on me the past few weeks.

Also the young boy dressed in Lady Gaga drag is HIGHLY irritating.

They can achieve so much more with promo and given streams now count as sales, they need as much exposure as possible.

EDIT: What on earth has happened to Amira's styling too!?

Posted by: mr_aly 5th November 2014, 02:41 PM

Oh dear, such a shame they went from their first professional looking video to that (although I know that the album has greatly underperformed since then).

I think this really is the final nail in the coffin for them, which is a shame as they had real potential. Expect an announcement early next year that they've parted ways with their label due to "creative differences".

This is just embarrassing sad.gif

It all started off SO well, too

The album is so good [Well what's left of it!] - Such a shame this will end the campaign by being a flop and doing nothing to revive the album, Really thought they had the potential to be huge but like Stooshe a chain of bad decisions will lead to this getting to #67 and a Twitter update in February saying they have parted ways with their record company due to creative differences!

Posted by: Sean. 14th November 2014, 08:30 AM

Was pleasantly surprised hearing this on The Hits yesterday morning - glad they got rid of the HORRID "rap" part!
