Thought I'd share this post with you guys
Fun Facts:
1) SPEARS RECEIVED FOUR STITCHES WHILE FILMING THE MUSIC VIDEO FOR “OOPS!… I DID IT AGAIN.”
2) SPEAR’S ICONIC RED LATEX JUMPSUIT WAS TOTALLY HER IDEA
3) THE ASTRONAUT IN THE MUSIC VIDEO IS NOW A SURGEON.
4) The album was originally going to be called Sunflower and then Platinum 2000 before Britney settled on naming it after its lead single 'Oops!... I Did It Again'.
5) Oops!... I Did It Again' was a massive hit for Britney, but who provided the male voice for the Titanic-inspired voice over part? It was the song's producer Max Martin.
6) Reviews for Oops!... I Did It Again were largely favourable, garnering a positive response from both critics and fans alike.
7) Bobby Brown served as assistant engineer on the album
8) When Your Eyes Say It' was supposedly scheduled to be the fourth single
9)Oops! went on to be a monster worldwide smash, selling over 24 million copies across the globe and finishing sixth on the best-selling albums of the last decade in the US.
10) In the 2002 movie Austin Powers: Goldmember, Austin blows up Britney and says, "Oops, I did it again."
11) spears performed this and her cover of the Rolling Stones' "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" as a 2-song medley in a nearly nude bra and matching pants at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards which shocked audiences and introduced a new image of Britney.
12) Dear Diary was originally written to have a \'dark\' ending (with Britney finding out that the guy she likes is holding hands with her bestfriend, and telling her listeners what she has learnt about getting her heart broken). Britney changed it as she said it may upset her younger fans.
13) Britney recreated the cover with her sons this past summer

"Hello" is shit. Well, it's not shit... It's just mediocre for her usual standards and it has nothing on ANY of the singles released from "Oops".

It's a great album! I'm very surprised that it's taken as long as 15 years for anyone to topple it tbh. In theory, Taylor should've done it by now. But so leased it was not the case
Ooft at that original ending for 'Dear Diary' though!

Well maybe not DLMBTLTK, but I agree lol. I guess it would happen eventually, and at least Adele is talented, if overrated.

'When Your Eyes Say It' would have been a much better single than 'Don't Let Me...' (as would 'Can't Make You Love Me' or 'Where Are You Now').
This era reminds me of just turning a teenager and being at school.

'Where Are You Now' should most definitely have been the big ballad single. Her vocals on that are wowwwwww! *.*

What U See should have been 5th single lol (I don't care if it does sound as third clone of BOMT it's still one of the best of album)

and as of Britney's record, oh well...majority of people in my life don't even know that she holds a record but now I guess everyone will learn after they read on news/blogs/internet when '25' final sales comes out

Oh I thought only Oops and BOMT were left, hence why I said Oops since we seemed to be going backwards
