QUOTE Tonight Georgia revealed their representative for Lisbon and it is Group Iriao who will have the honour. This announcements comes as a surprise as 1TV, the Georgian national broadcaster, had been expected to hold a national final. https://www.escxtra.com/2017/12/31/georgia-...-chosen-lisbon/Group Iriao and Eurovision 2018 Group Iriao’s music has been described as a blend of Jazz with traditional Georgian elements. The groups director, David Malazonia, has worked in Germany and Georgia on several theatre and musical productions for over 30 years. It is unknown if the song they will perform in Lisbon will be chosen internally or by a national final. More details are expected to be announced soon. Fans of Jamala and Salvador rejoice as the jazz revival in Eurovision continues! |

I'm detecting a Three Minutes To Earth style mess but possibly more polished and I love the idea of it. G'WON GEORGIA *.*

Taking their time on this one aren't they! Wonder if they're checking out the competition and going for something big that stands out?

Yay for Georgian in the contest again but I'm not keen on it on first listen. |

I feel like they tried to jump on the Portugal 2017 bandwagon and it has just made another forgettable song in Semi 2

For what it is, it's actually quite pleasant but I don't see this one as being terribly competitive.

It's not QUITE as bad as I maybe thought but Cameron hit the nail in the head, it's ultimately just another pretty dull song to clog up semi 2...
