The original is better obvs but I do really like it! And hopefully this can make Lover a smash cos it deserves to be massive <3 (and there's no chance of the original becoming a hit anymore without a remix </3)
Now we need promotion everywhere for this to become a smash ahh! (Esp considering Tay has done basically every single awards show this year <3). Hopefully she does this at ama's, voice US, some UK promo would be amaze ahh Also can we have good spotify playlisting this era for the first time since Me plz! |

I think this might struggle here: Radio 1 have just taken it off their playlist and I doubt they will re add it and I’m not sure if Spotify would add it back to Hot Hits either!

It's been off hot hits for ages (the man lasted longer on HH than Lover haha and even that's been off a lil while now) so I'd be disappointed if they didn't re-add it

I like the remix, I prefer the original too because I'm more used to it but I think it's cute as a duet like it's the two lovers singing to each other and Shawn fits really well! I'm glad it's not one of those remixes where it sounds like they just tacked on a random verse or chorus and it feels really rushed.

their voices don't match and Shawn cannot hit the notes, he sounds terrible (and I generally like him) at least it's not a duet with Ed |

I can see this getting a new peak thanks to the remix! Maybe not this week but definitely in 3-4 weeks. All this needs is a big UK push on TV. I think this will help the album out too. It was the perfect track to release at this time of year and Shawn is probably the best Male she could’ve collaborated with too as she’s already worked with Ed in the past.
