There are rules in place to clamp down on such tax avoidance schemes from January 2019. The bad news is that it is EU legislation so it may not apply here for long. I'm sure the fact that many of these tax dodgers supported the Leave campaign is just a coincidence.

Yes one might speculate that personal enormous financial gain is a pretty good motivator to pursue brexit by the rich and powerful. Of course im sure corbyn will bring in even tougher rules than the eu once he gets his elected way and can reduce in the uk the reliance on private tax avoiding legal capitalism. If he didnt campaign to do so he would after all look like a complete liar and hypocrite...

The tories rely on the rich to exist as a party so they will never do it ohmy.gif

so the rich are investing in offshore tax havens, that's almost as surprising as finding out that water is wet.

but isn't it lovely watching them squirm at having not to pay all the taxes that us poor folk have to pay? It gives you a warm glow all over and they can never slag off anyone ever again without looking like total hypocrites.... laugh.gif
