Thank you Soe for reposting my comment on DS. I can't seem to be able to open an account there, and I'm fine with that. It does get occasionally dramatic. LOL. I also wanted to add that: to preempt people characterizing the songs on the album as repetitive, she should emphasize that it's her first THEMATIC album. Maybe say how she wanted to move away from randomly putting together the best demos she received or her personal songs to a collection with a really unified theme. Maybe if there are classical albums in the same vein she could name drop so 'dem haters' have no more room to detract her. I'm going to try my hardest to make this my last 'worried' post. I AM just gives me too many good vibes. It MUST go well for it.

There's a high chance of "Thunder" being on US iTunes tonight with global release friday and the fact her radio tour starts next week (15th she's got a performance at a radio station). Also, entertainment weekly reporting that "Thunder" is already released:

I'm the same Joe, every song so far sounds stronger than "Fire Under My Feet".
I think "Thunder" is great. The chorus is instant but the song itself gets better each listen. I think that's a great combo - instant & a grower. I think with a good promo campaign behind it it could become a decent sized hit in the US! |

Heres a link to listen to it without signing up or nothing, Hmmm like i said on digital spy i'm not feeling this, I didn't really like FUMF and i dont like this either its a nice album track in my opinion but lead single for US? no hoping it grows on me but dont think it will, I just hope she brings something out i can really get behind this era because i feel like a bad fan for not liking these 2 singles. |
