...of the most consistent live vocal performers? I gave a listen to a few big vocal performers - Celine Dion, Whitney Houston - just to see how well their studio recordings measured up to their live performances. I did this because of how often fans on here go into meltdown over one of her 'off' performances. It just seems to be the case that most of them have their really good and really bad days, and that's its often no indication of the general state of their voice. Leona and Jennifer Hudson - didn't check out Beyonce or Christina yet - strike me as being very very consistently good with live performances. I've listened to artists who sounded pitchy with some performances, but scrolling through youtube comments, its all praise and good vibes. Makes we wonder why people get so hard on Leona sometimes. I just resolved to take her live performances for whatever they are at any given moment.

But her voice has certainly got worse since she was on the X Factor? At least this year she was producing better live vocals than during the Glassheart and Christmas with Love eras.

Yup, during Glassheart her live vocals, for example Trouble, were very weak
